    How’s the wife @Lit
As good as she can be. They confirmed the tendon is cut and scheduled surgery for Monday. She’s gonna need physical therapy to get the thumb moving like it used to. Thanks for asking

Just installed a new stereo in my sons car.  Sounds good, now has legal hands free and can listen to Spotify or pandora.
    Cool dad right there.

Watching 9/11 documentaries on NatGeo. Still has me in tears and angry after all these years. Heartbreaking. Never forget.

Just dropped Tim off at the station. He's doing a tour of the West for the next 2 weeks, flies into Denver tomorrow.

Hope he has a safe, fun, and memorable trip! Did he have any "must see" things/places on his itinerary?
It's an organised trip to do a lot of the tourist stuff - Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, Little Bighorn, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Salt Lake City, Arches National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon,  Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Vegas.  He'll be on the road a lot!

Thanks for the offer @johnmitchell , it's all West as per the above list!

@Eoin Great intro itinerary right there.  Plants the seed and once he clears the rest of his now developing bucket list he may make it back to a few of those sites.  I notice that Vegas is intentionally vague. B)

If he needs help in the Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon area send me a PM.  I’m local there.  He will have a blast and the weather is finally cooling off here so he should have a great trip.

Dang- @SciAggie great acquisition but where do you plan to park it within the confines of your incredible outdoor culinary experience real estate??
However, better to be lucky than good any day.  Congrats!

Lol. I have a place made especially for it. I laid a flagstone patio this summer and made a place for the smoker. Pics when it arrives...
    Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

@pgprescott it was ok. I didn't put a lot on these because of the high sugar content so it did not have a very strong taste profile. It tastes really good out of the bottle though.
