It's the attention to detail when they put up that poster that makes all the difference.

@Eoin - To those who ventured to the NY Yankees-Boston Red Sox baseball  game in London that started around 5 hours ago, they are getting more than their fill of Yank baseball.  Scoring is like American football and the duration is well out there.  27 outs/team and who knows when it will end.
But given your indulgence of cricket it may be acceptable.  And they do it again Sunday.  B)
I saw that was happening over here, but I have no idea at all about baseball.

Real cricket matches last 5 days. The current world cup is based on 1 day matches, we were favourites but have been poor. The big one is the Ashes later in the summer. A 5 match series against the Aussies. It's the big one for us England cricket fans.
I have emotionally disengaged from the World Cup already to save the energy of being disappointed later today.

Being England and needing to win both matches, they will lose today and then cruise to a massive history in the next so that they can pretend to have done well afterwards.

Lots of low scoring games, though. Printing up to 500 on the scorecards was a bit of a misjudgment.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

Apparently (according to a discussion I heard on TMS), because this is an ICC tournament, the ICC control everything. That means the pitch preparation as well. I had been surprised that we didn't see flat tracks to suit the England batting line up - a bit of home advantage - but clearly the ICC see it differently!

Get some of the bark when they first come off the grill.

I stand in the kitchen while pulling and shreading with big red zin and chow on the bark like a starved piranha.

    Great eats await my friend.

Way to swing for the fence!

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"
