Is anyone else a fan of "Below Deck Mediterranean"?
@thetrim I have watched more than just a few episodes for no other reason that I love boats and I do not have to think at all when watching it.
    You into it?
Yeah I like it.  I like the Caribbean series better, because I've been to some of the same islands they visit on there. I also spend a lot time in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, so I get to see some big yachts when not working.
The normal reality show messes are consistent thru both series.  I totally agree with the brainless aspect of the entertainment.  I don't watch it every week, but I get caught up when I have a few hours here and there by watching on the Bravo app.
When I am surfing the channels and it is on, I get sucked into it. Did you see the episode where the charter was Mr.Skin?  That must have been a hell of a week....
No I think I missed that one.

Brisket sandwich and BBQ beans from B's Cracklin BBQ. My favorite brisket in ATL.

I haven’t been there yet. That’s the one near Bolton right?
Yes. I'm just happy there's a good joint back here to rep the West Side! All the solid old school places have died out over the years.

Great plate and presentation.  No way I would put that effort into a forum shot.  But if intending to intimidate then you are on it!  Enjoy the cameraderie and competition.

Listening to Snarky Puppy on Alexa.  It’s a jazz band out of Brooklyn. My youngest son’s new math teacher is the sax player.  Pretty cool.

Brooklyn?!?  I thought they were out of south Texas!
I have most, if not all, of their stuff, and a lot of it on 5.1 Bluray.  They often record their albums "live/studio", ie in a studio, no overdubs, with a bunch of folks listening in on headphones, all captured on video.  Really odd but the performances are killer!!

You might see the trophy in my car when I am driving off after the win.

It is over before it starts.

Nice effort, but it won't be good enough.

That would be, without a doubt, a sickening sight. Old, fat, pasty ( and those are my good qualities) guy in a Hooters uniform.

Nah, even I have limits. Plus, My Beautiful Wife would kill me.

Maybe we could get Matt to show up in the Thunderbuddy costume?

  • Speaking of Hooters, they are taking out the downtown Tampa/Channelside location which has been there for 15 years. This location is right next to Amalie Arena and served as my favorite pregame spot before a Bolts game. Lightning owner is completely revamping that area into a open concept restaurant and bar area, which looks pretty cool.

But really, all I want is some Hooters

Hat tricks has some solid scenery before a Lightning game too!  That shouldn't be affected by the changes, will it?  I went there with some friends for the Johnny Manziel vs. Bama game many years ago.  We ate a ton of wings and drank a steady stream of beer for many hours and only had to pay about $20 each.
