Thats funny just made one like 5 mins ago for wifey and a girlfriend she has over. I always do 8oz tequila, 4 oz lime juice, 2 oz orange juice, 1 oz simple syrup, and a fresh jalapeño sliced and like 5 slices of the hot sliced Jalapeños in a jar. 

Put sliced jalapeños in a cup with lime juice and smash them up good then strain and mix everything together and shake with ice. My wife likes salt on the rim. They are really good and dangerous since they are over 50% tequila. This will make 2 over ice.

Willett should be a mainstay on every well stocked bar IMO. Always a good one.

I suppose I’ll have to buy me some of this Japanese whiskey now that it’s blown up and becoming costly. 🙄🙄🙄

Not a fan of the Japanese stuff. Too much like Scotch for my liking. Love that Willett Rye. Nice score!

Yeah I’ve have some pours at restaurants and it’s definitely is “scotch”. I happen to be a scotch lover at heart so I’ll probably fall in love.

Might as well call it all scotch now. The Scottish distilleries are mostly Japanese-owned now anyway!

I never tried it until about 5 years ago when I went on a trip to Japan and our host spoiled me with some of their good stuff. I’m not a big scotch fan but to me Japanese whiskey has just a kiss of the smokey peatyness that isn’t over powering.

This distillery is owned by Suntory which actually now owns Jim Beam.

fully agree.  I had no clue Tequila could be that darn good.   Definitely an eye opener for me.

I brought mine back from Mexico @ 60 bucks. haven't seen it under $100 around here. Often times 120-130. Its a sipper not for frozen cocktails. LOL 

They make higher grade bottles I haven't tried. I inquired about the black labeled one but they wanted 400 down in Mexico which was way too rich for a non tequila lover such as myself. I looked it up later and they get @800 in the states I think. It was a good deal, but just not for me . The blue bottle there is plenty good enough.
