Im getting my Travis kit together, got a packer brisket, the Grand Champion Rub, the Allegro and a big pan. Just need the Shiner Bock and a nice onion for the upcoming holiday weekend. Does anyone still use this method or it is so 2012

Brisket boiling became passe in 2013.

I have had this thread open on my phone for over a month before I just saved it. Did it last month, turned out amazing. First brisket I pulled off that came out right. Put a 7 lber on an hour ago. This will feed my peoples this Memorial Day. Thank you Travis.

How long does this method take (1hr/lb more?)?
Does it benifit from a lower temp/longer smoke?
Do you FTC at the end?
