    We had some pretty strong winds today. Had a few gusts of 70 mph. It was an awful work day.

    ^^^ We were supposed to get your 70-mph breeze, along with a bunch of snow, last night at eleven along with a cold front.  The winds hit, but not the cold front (it was still 50º in my back porch this morning, so my big pot of red-beans-n-rice is probably NG).  
    The winds finally died down about 1 this aft, then the cold front/snow hit; that was fine.
    The really bad winds hit just south of SLC (I'm to the north) and a lot of power lines, trees and roofs were lost.

    I'd been dodging tumbleweeds growing up in SD (actually took out a headlight once), and in NM, but haven't really seen them here in UT.
    The Great Wind Storm found them, and sent them to SLC:  
     

     
    Dad and I have burned them in the field after the harvest; pile them up, sprinkle just a bit of Texaco on the edge, and light.  They go up fast and go up HOT, because there's so much airspace in between the stiff branches.

    Growing up in southern Idaho, I’m no stranger to the tumbleweeds. Now a Vegas resident, I’m more accustomed to the tumbleweaves. 

    I’m not gonna lie though, the wind was pretty crazy yesterday. All the stop lights were out in the area I work, which caused a ton of wrecks because people are too stupid to figure out to treat them like a 4 way stop sign.

    Have never handled a real gold bar so no clue as to how many it might take to make that thing. Too bad to see that one of them was stolen and probably melted down.

    Melted worth way more and makes it virtually untraceable.

    Definitely cast aluminum. My engineer at the bakery is gonna weld it for me on Monday. Hopefully he can use the bench vice and straighten out the actual assembly 

    the junk aluminum on american cars weld better than the expensive european aluminum......rock sliders might be a better alternative ;)

     One must buy low and sell high

    winning some and losing some 

    I accumulated the majority of this asset in that manner

    its not luck as much as playing the law of averages for the past 3 years and patience

    I dabble in crypto like other things so I can try understand them.  My annual income is based on CBOT and my ability to market.  “One must buy low and sell high” might be over simplifying things. You are also implying that you are winning at crypto and I call ****.
