I'm normally not much of a speeder but must've been a bit randy in Albuquerque ('87-'92), got pulled over nine times but only got warnings. Never underestimate the value of placing your Driver's License under your military ID.Ozzie_Isaac said:
I was polite and respectful and apologetic. I received a warning.
I've lived here in UT for 28 years now, only got two tickets, one summer, within six weeks of each other. So glad my insurance agent never heard about them.“The best way to execute french cooking is to get good and loaded and whack the hell out of a chicken."

The white Lamborghini at the side of the road was asked to rev it up by my granddaughter. The guy obliged, the car shut down and wouldn’t start😳
Embarrassing for him in front of all those other owners
There were 2 1/2 blocks of cars on display, all exotics. Not Naples Fl but still a good showing for around hereIn the bush just East of Cambridge,Ontario -

Assuming it's not a lease which most are, to the person that owns that car it's the equivalent of you and I buying a new tv. Ya it would suck if it gets a knick or scratch but they will just trade it in for a new model if something happens to it and go in their merry way with their new $4k lease payment.GrateEggspectations said:

Those Calvo Vipers are insane. Streetspeed717 had his Snakeskin ACR converted a year or so ago. I think it was too much car for him. I want to say he was under 2,000 HP. I couldn't imagine the 3,000+ HP builds Calvo does."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

I can get the mindset that anyone who owns a car like this can also afford the repairs, it’s just a foreign mentality to me.TEXASBGE2018 said:

I don’t know a single individual who drives cars of this caliber here that leases them - or not that they admit to, anyway. 🙃 -
There are significant tax advantages to leasing them. I watched a YouTube video on it once (Vinwiki episode I think) that walked through it. I don't necessarily agree nor endorse that practice, but supposedly there is a method.GrateEggspectations said:

My own proclivity is to buy toys. I was raised that toys should be bought, not financed. However, if my accountant could show me that leasing would save me a significant amount of money, then I would consider it.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

With the wealthy currently using exotics as a store of wealth and prices rising, I have trouble believing leasing would be advantageous at present. A contact of mine just bought a car in the $300K range and reports he could sell it used for a $60K profit easy. But no first hand experience here; I just view the show from the cheap seats, FWIW.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I suspect much depends on how long you plan to keep the vehicle, how many miles you'll put on it, etc. In normal times, most of the exotics are depreciating pretty steeply right out of the lot. Then some actually start to appreciate, like some of the older Porsches and a few others. But these are not normal times so who knows.GrateEggspectations said:

Yes that one gets me almost every time. Or the new Corvettes. Look like an Italian supercar. I'm getting used to those though.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Hope it was hand washed if not what kind of genius takes a half million dollar car to the drive through wash? I guess the answer is a genius that has more money than sense.bbracey21 said:

More $$$ than sense… When it came out I was like oh no 😫🤦🏼♂️They do have the capability for hand washes so I don’t know why that wasn’t selected. Hell if asked I probably would have hand washed it for them.
