Sir, I will politely disagree. Rolls-Royce 27 liter V-12 is one of the most amazing and chilli bump inducing sounds. I have been blessed to hear them in flight more than a few times.lousubcap said:dbCooper said:A overview of running the 100th Le Mans race...Thanks for the link. To be fair the Rolls-Royce 27-Liter V-12 was the engine in WWII P-51 Mustangs. Coming in hot on a low pass is just amazing. Not really fair comparison to any car.lousubcap said:Ozzie_Isaac said:

A friend's neighbor's 12 year old took their parents' whip for a joy ride. Didn't even make the first turn.

Sweet. Nice spotting. First Porsche I ever drove, and I was lucky to do it. A client of my wife’s that I was meeting for the very first time. I was in my mid-20s.Ozzie_Isaac said:911 Turbo S. Driver looked about 90. I hope to be that badass when I am 90.

Is that place worth a trip? I’m going to assume yes, we are in college park and I drive by there all the time. I want to go on the test track but I don’t want to pay for it.ksmyrl said:Porsche Cars North America

Nothing like a trip to my dentist (not her's) to catch one in the wild. She gave me some insights into the deep pocket owner (lease?) who periodically rolls these out. Research to follow:

Time to look over your billing for dental work. It is possible there will be discrepancies. A dermatologist I once used in my early twenties is still serving time in prison. I guess it's a problem to bill insurance for procedures that you never did. Who knew?lousubcap said:Nothing like a trip to my dentist (not her's) to catch one in the wild. I'd say yes if you are close. I spent about an hour in the museum before an event we were hosting. Their event space is one of the best in the ATL. If you ever get invited to an event there go, it's really cool. If you like cars you'll like the museum. Catered food is good too, not sure about the restaurant on site.

While not exotic and maybe not even cool, I thought it was pretty neat.
