Just south of my town, we have an Interstate (I-19) that is the only interstate in the USA fully marked in Kilometers.

I call Bull$hit as there is a section of one here that does the kilos but was snipped after a few km/miles.  Seems the politicians and drug dealers had some issues.  =)

Yes once again I am reminded that @GrateEggspectations can walk around the block of his neighbourhood (nod) or his high roller surroundings and grab these sightings on a routine basis.  His BIL's stable would cause thread overload  =)

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Oh, I figured as much.  Thanks for relaying the location.  I was genuinely curious what could draw all those high end vehicles.

I know the real formula is "9/5", but I went to Iowa, so I just round that to 2.  It is close enough for most things.

With that said, I just double it and add 32 when converting between metric and US measurements.  Its not perfect, but it gets me in the ballpark.  I don't understand why people resist the metric system.

    1 pound = (1*2)+32~34kg
    1 gallon = (1*2)+32~34litres

Nothin' to it!  Saves a lot of time!
    Wait, what?

    Factor for temperature is 9/5 + 32
For lbs to kg you DIVID by 2.2
For gallons to liters you multiple by 3.75
For miles to km you multiply by 1.6

I've only seen it once (not my pic below) and that was 30+ years ago but I read that the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile is being renamed the "Frankmobile" as part of a new branding move. Unsure if the name change is permanent.

Would be too bad if it is, as Weinermobile is much funnier to say.

From the factory that chassis never came with a weiner. I'm offended!

When I heard the word “weiner”, I fully expected some to be offended.

Both Mercedes and Audi offer "station wagons" that almost blow everything else in their lines out of the water, performance-wise.  My Canadian boys from TheStraightPipes really raved about both of them, in fact Jakob bought a used Mercedes from Japan for his own use.  Hipster SUV?  I don't know.

EDIT:  The Audi version is the RS-6 Avant, and there are about 25 used ones available here in the US right now; all priced higher than what I paid for my house.

Yeah, it's a pretty rare two door 1965 Chevelle wagon. I had no idea they came in a two door wagon.

I love looking at those old brochures.  It amazes me how many models they made.  Today, Chevy makes one "car".
