    Merry Christmas cap! I filled the hopper to almost full, just about empty when I refilled this morning. No big deal since I don't use $pendy manufacturer approved pellets :)

    Thanks, we make these pretty frequently, they are very good. I just usually make 5-8 larger biscuits instead of the small ones the recipe calls for. RTR

    I didn't know if you guys knew that the new Mac OS can do this.  I saved the above image to my desktop, then open it in either Preview or Photos.  Then when you move the cursor over the text it changes to the Text Selection cursor, and you can copy the text from the photo, and then paste it into a document for better printing:
     

    Black Pepper Biscuits  

    MAKES ABOUT TWENTY BISCUITS

    We make these biscuits really small at the restaurant because they are served alongside an appetizer of skillet shrimp. You can make these biscuits larger to go with eggs for breakfast.

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 tablespoon baking powder

    1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste ¾ teaspoon kosher salt

    ½ cup (1 stick) plus 1 tablespoon cold unsalted butter

    1 cup heavy cream

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, pepper, and salt.

    Cube 1 stick butter and add to flour mixture. With your fingertips or a pastry blender blend cubed butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Add cream and mix with a rubber spatula just until most of the dry ingredients are moistened. With a lightly floured hand, gather dough into a ball and knead it gently against the sides and bottom of bowl about 5 times.

    Transfer to a lightly floured surface and pat dough into a round about 1-inch thick.

    Using a 2-inch-round cutter cut out biscuits and arrange about 1-inch apart on a baking sheet. Gather and pat out scraps and cut out more biscuits

    Melt remaining tablespoon butter and brush on top of biscuits.  

    Bake biscuits in middle of oven until pale golden and cooked through, about 20 minutes.

     

    You may have to correct some formatting, but it works really well.

    I think we were around 65. It was frigid. Fired up the grill for the first time at the new place and made some pizzas. Wasn’t Papa Murphy’s, but it did the trick.

    There really ought to be some reverse beer tax, where the worse the team’s record - the cheaper the beer is.

    That may already exist, foxboro was 18 for a Coors light can maybe 8 years ago

    I'm sure on average beer at baseball games is less than the other three major sports, but the $5.50 figure posted for Target Field seems unrealistic for 2011 must less 2021. Having said that, I don't visit as many venues as I used to.

    Imagine buying your dad an 18 dollar twist off Coors light can at a pats game and not be able to tell him what it cost. I fish with the dad, would never understand what his kid did that day........
