@ColbyLang that is no bueno, hopefully you can get it fixed and up and running again soon.
@Battleborn hopefully they can identify the bodies that are starting to pop up and maybe bring some closure for families. I wonder how many are going to start showing up?
@fishlessman did the marina bring you their okd docks?I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

6 hours of shoveling and one very disgruntled Waste Management driver, it’s done. I’ve been working a shovel since 4am. Needs interior detailing, but that’ll happen once we lock out tag out for the day. Swapped production over to our secondary flour bin and lost exactly zero time.Ozzie_Isaac said:@ColbyLang that is no bueno, hopefully you can get it fixed and up and running again soon.

they redid about 2/3 the marina and sold the old docks to another marina. this was the gas pump dock that didnt get replaced til this spring. alot wider and more stable than the other ones they had. i get the feeling he is getting ready to sell the place

Oh my goodness. The main character is soooo annoying. Like seriously, aggravatingly annoying. She was great for the first 2.5 seasons, then you just kind of hope for her character to leave the show. So many other more interesting characters and storylines whose demise results directly from her behavior. It may not be a giant leap to see how it could happen. But I think what we have here is a life imitating art situation. When it started it was all pretty out there. Now, not so much. Kind of like Idiocracy.JohnInCarolina said:

Update on Cast Iron replacement project or as @kl8ton called it ""Paying a lot of money for a project that you can't tell we did after completion - how I do it".
Putting two rooms back together. Carpet guy came at 8:00 this morning.
Couldn't completely replace padding because carpet was still seamed at the door of the closet top right. It had parts of the King Sized Bed frame stored in it with no other place to put it.
Closet is no longer a storage area for the bed.
Bed has 14 component parts plus fasteners that had to be moved from their storage locations, oriented in their proper positions, and secured with fasteners. That headboard with storage was stored upside down in the old dining area next to the kitchen and bedroom.
It was easy to slide it into the bedroom, having been stored upside down; but putting it into the final positioning and orientation was difficult for just one person, this old guy, because it was heavy as all get out.
The other, much lighter piece of furniture that was stored elsewhere.
The main storage area now returned to the original function as a conversation and music listening/making area.
The other furniture storage area almost fully returned to a less crowded function.
So what is left to mostly complete this long project? That little pink container sitting on some uninstalled baseboard might be a clue.
OK- 57 holes to fill, texture to apply in all the areas where holes were filled, and, painting. Going to need more than the sample container of the matching paint to do a good job.
Small things mostly to finish up beside getting another storage cabinet to replace the sink that was in SWMBO's makeup area and reinstalling the Swanstone counter that is stored in the master bedroom on that Lane Hope Chest.
The less obvious thing left to do is to put all the consumables that were stored in the cabinets back where they belong. But I have time. Thanks for looking.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

this project is done, actually its past 90 percent which is done in my book
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Thanks @fishlessman - getting past 90% seemed a long way off when dealing with a project this large in scope. The worst part was the waiting for a contractor to be available who was willing to take on CI replacement in a concrete block house with a poured 4" concrete house pad.
Paying a plumber to push the raw sewage down the length of the internal CI pipe because as it turned out, the pipe was installed incorrectly by the no longer in business builder - almost on a level grade. Been dealing with this issue since 1989 so knew it was going to be a continual problem if it was not finally fixed.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

@Eoin - in addition to @JohnInCarolina 's roof assessment it looks like you have a proper place to serve any "banished" time out penalty/assignment that may be offered in the future.
You may want to upgrade the internal infrastructure to include self-sufficient life support systems for a period of time.
