    Couple of those guys are going out on my boat for fishing tomorrow.  I’ll try to get some pics.  Fun to take out of state visitors out on the Louisiana waters.  Beautiful in its own way.

    these phones are getting really good. Iphone 12 from the front porch. Those trees in front are 200 yds or so. The valley ahead is 6 miles. 
    I would have guess 500 yards. Beautiful spot you picked out.

    Thanks we love it out here. Good thing because we are, shall we say, “fully committed” lol. This is the front 20 acres where the house is. There are 80 acres of raw land behind us.

    at&t sent me a free replacement maestro 4g phone to replace my 3g after last weeks 3g shutdown.  todays  screen is half chinese and half english, how is that possible. looks like a chinese menu.  (just assuming its chinese because i dont read chinese)  any idea how to fix that, the language is set for english. must be a really expensive phone to do that

    Indeed.  That show had so much promise.  I guess Joss and the network execs had irreconcilable differences.  Maybe it will be resurrected one day.  For now, the space western is dead.

    had to do a full reboot with this phone, dont think ill be adding contacts to it for a while. atleast it reads in english now. pics are worse than my relic flip phone if you can imagine that

    Subtly is one if my trademarks.  I will say this was my first try at Meringue and I was very pleased.  I watched Kenji Lopez-Alt do it in a video a few months back.

    I seem to recall Whedon saying a few years ago that he had no interest in reviving the series or making a sequel to the movie.
    Perhaps he'd change his mind if Bezos threw enough money at him.
    I know that at least three of the cast (Fillion, Baccarin, Tudyk) have current tv shows in production - might be hard to get the band back together.

    if i find that i dont use the features then im not likely to upgrade. found using it for the forum to be lousy so thats pretty much not an uprgrade.  it has solitaire so theres that...... going to wait anyways to see the small 400 dollar apple thats due out, or get an upgraded flip that looks like my old one. texting for me is typing refill when my meds are low B)

    It's an elective event, and I have elected to not participate in it anymore.  I've seen it/done it so many times, got all that youthful exuberance out of my system.  We might go walk around on fat Tuesday, but that's a big maybe.

    We went to a ball with @Foghorn and family one year.  Fun, but the Tux's are a lot of work and it's a messy event.

    Yeah, the Bacchus Ball was a lot of fun - but black tie tailgating at a convention center (pack all of your own food and drink while you are in tuxes and ball gowns) was interesting to say the least.

    XXL BGE, Karebecue, Klose BYC, Chargiller Akorn Kamado, Weber Smokey Mountain, Grand Turbo gasser, Weber Smoky Joe, and the wheelbarrow that my grandfather used to cook steaks from his cattle

    We did one parade with the kids Saturday evening. More than enough for me. Ball somewhat mandatory as sister in law is royalty.
