Thanks @GrateEggspectations. Char siu had diluted honey finishing glaze, chicken had freshly applied SBR. Generally I get better colour, not smoke taste though, with pellet pooper than egg...I seldom add smoking wood in egg cook whereas the pellet is essentially raw wood dust. May be someone can explain this better

Smoked 70 mins 240 grate 275 dome.
Finished at 340 grate 375 dome for another 30 mins.
Simple easy and tasty.

Thank you, it was great. Super easy too…followed this recipe with 2 changes. Grilled a flank steak (because that’s what we had in the freezer, and why would I wash a pan when I can put the plate to carry to the grill in the dishwasher) and added grape tomatoes because our tomato plants are still going nuts.caliking said:
