Sleaford Mods!Eoin said:Cancelled Glastonbury would be on this weekend, so lots of replays on the BBC plus tons available on iPlayer. So far we've done full sets from Beyonce, Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, Stormzy, Sleaford Mods and currently LCD Sound System. Going to fit Idles in later, not sure what else yet.
We just re-watched Nile Rogers / Chic - never get bored of that set.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -
I'm not sure Sleaford Mods would be very comprehensible across the pond.CPFC1905 said:

Sleaford Mods are a band, very good, and local to us in the East Midlands. Social commentary with a dash of foul language. Actually, more than a dash, so definitely parental advisory. https://m.youtube.com/results?search_query=sleaford+modsOzzie_Isaac said:

Christopher Nolan is a favorite contemporary director of mine. Memento blew my mind the first time I saw it. I just finished cutting grass. While doing so I noticed that some vile creature had cut off all of the leaves on one of my 4 jalapeño plants. I blame Nola.

You shouldn’t blame Nola, but rather the n00b he brainwashed into cutting all the leaves off your jalapeño plants.Gulfcoastguy said:I just finished cutting grass. Made a quick 6 hour trip to Northern Nevada yesterday to meet my parents halfway and grab child #3 from them. Came back to this today.
Somwhere in there is Vegas. Also, Mt. Charleston is on fire with 40 mph sustained winds. That sounds fun.

Just got a “work sharp” Ken blah blah and I’m impressed. The bevel is now the shiniest part of my knives, and I’m scared of them.

So... I dipped my toes in the espresso machine rabbithole (instigated here, not too long ago). Have been drinking 6 espresso shots daily, for the past 3 weeks, to get it dialed in. I’ve had the most vivid dreams I can remember for quite a while, and have been telling everyone that “I feel like Inception!”JohnInCarolina said:Watching Inception with my daughter. @SciAggie I have the machine plugged in to a smart plug, so it turns on in the AM, afternoon, and after dinner. It’s a steady, consistent, level of caffeination
And yes, I’m getting used to the jitjitjitters by now...
@Mattman3969 I got the Rancilio Silvia + doserless Rocky grinder. I liked that it’s user serviceable. Will likely mod it with a PID unit in about 6months. Or less.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
Spent an hour or so this afternoon stitching up (one side of) the vinyl tonneau cover on my truck.Channeled all kinds of know how from medical school, and watching a cobbler many times when I was a kid. It was kinda therapeutic
