@Foghorn - I would gladly be the other half of that cook...the flats or flappers. That is quite a load and sauce looks like a vision into molten lava. Great eats wait.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. I’ve heard rumors of a 36” wok. I’d like to see it put to work. The Cen-Tex Smoker said:tColeman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

The sad part is I can’t pull out the big paella pans until we can gather in larger numbers. A 32” or 22” paella for two ain’t happening...
I have a patagonia cross I haven’t broken in yet. Maybe I’ll cook some beef shiners on it. A spring lamb would be awesome but again - not for a household of two.
I’ll keep noodling my way through my small scale stuff though. I’m having a ton of fun. This is giving me something to think about.Coleman, Texas

Cali may win numbers on Weber’s alone. He’s definitely in the race on diversity as well but he’s a Weber hoarder.SciAggie said:The sad part is I can’t pull out the big paella pans until we can gather in larger numbers. A 32” or 22” paella for two ain’t happening...

@The Cen-Tex Smoker This may be heresy but I don’t own a Weber - never have. I’ve cooked on them for 35 years at my MIL house.Coleman, Texas

I have one tiny jumbo Joe that goes to the beach with us every year. It cooks beach dogs and burgers and they are delish. I’ve had it 2 years and it’s the only Weber I’ve had. I dig it.SciAggie said:@The Cen-Tex Smoker This may be heresy but I don’t own a Weber - never have. I’ve cooked on them for 35 years at my MIL house.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -
Yes sir! Just add cold beer...

Thanks @lousubcap. All they had at the store was drummies so that’s what we got. Here they are after swimming in some sauce. The green beans had honey, garlic, onions, and horseradish. None of us are winning any “best breath” contests.lousubcap said:@Foghorn - I would gladly be the other half of that cook...the flats or flappers. Dude... She's gonna find this thread!!! It's taken me this long to convince caliqueen that I don't have half the cookers, or charcoal , that I actually do possess. The Cen-Tex Smoker said:

I just read this out loud to both of them. They agree. As do I. They are here making crepes from scratch. They didn't get that from either of their parents.caliking said:Note to self: hang out with @Foghorn ‘s kids more .
