Baby poo can be read with higher validity than tea leaves.nolaegghead said:

Shucks. Killens is less than 10 mins from me. Missed a chance to throw back some beverages.saluki2007 said:Was first in line. I've never had brisket that comes even close to this. Unreal. The pulled pork was great too. Ribs were good but nothing different. Slaw was great and the Mac n cheese was simple but fantastic. Not pictured are the wings, great a well with a good amount of heat.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

My first car (a '70 Ford Maverick) and last Saab, were both what I called "Baby **** Green". Not my choice in either case, you can only afford the used car available at the time...

A pre midnight snack. Refried beans doused with fire roasted salsa. Chef John inspired. I can't wait for the dreams tonight

I got the idea to do Venetian plaster about 15 years ago . The color is Caramello. The dog likes it anyway. Ignore the top photo. Apple decided to include it

Saab called it "Seafoam Green", but our definitions were more accurate.nolaegghead said:

Operative word being 'Saab'. Well done, sir. Whatever the colour, its a Saab and thats all the matters.Botch said:My first car (a '70 Ford Maverick) and last Saab, were both what I called "Baby **** Green". Not my choice in either case, you can only afford the used car available at the time...
I am approaching one of those professional transitions, you know - when your employer says 'happy birthday, here's a cheque - now clear off and let someone younger have a go' .
A chunk of that cheque will be invested in a Saab - a gift for SWMBO, albeit I have always wanted one. The market is shrinking but prices have not gone mad.
I have seen some low miler, late example convertibles for between £7 & 8k. Absolute bargain.
A few years ago we had an A4 avant in vivid Kermit green. Parked it up a tree at speed coming home off a late shift, steering around a massive stag in the road.
Yes, there were witnesses - it wasn't the apocryphal 'dog that ran out in front of me and then disappeared' Being an Audi probably saved my life, so we had two more after that - all the time the kids were young. One of those was written off, but by the dealership while on a road test after a service!Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -

I sold my last Saab ('01 Convertible) to a coworker for $800, She did have a lot of miles though.
Replaced with... Audi A5 Cabrio!

Looking at online interior design options with SWMBO. So far 2 sites; havenly and modsy. You upload your Floorplan and pick your "style" then they tell you what to buy and how to lay the room out.
Her department, I couldn't care less. She still insist.

Went ahead and sliced up that sirloin roast I've been dry aging. 40 days today.
Holy connective tissue! Wont do one of these again.
The outer hard crust was about 1/4" thick, normal?
Does that crust soften when grilling?
Going to eat a couple for dinner, I'll post results. I ended up with 4 good sized steaks, a good size roast and 2 smaller pieces.

There's no outer fat layer so you're going to get a jerky layer. I think it's a good candidate for wet aging.
