    @nolaegghead Thanks. Yeah, I glanced at several recipes online but yours look better, lol. That’s why I asked - you shouldn’t make it look so good.

    I’ve about decided that any recipe that involves a roux is going to be tasty.

    Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
    "Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

    Adjustments to recipe:  don't add any salt until the end. Canned peas are pretty salty to start.

      Lil bit of corn starch helps thicken, based on your roux.  Darker the roux the less ability to thicken.

    Withdrawing an offer on the house...inspection was today. All was great until we hit the crawl space. Holy fu#[! Termite tubes, Carpenter ants and accompanying damage, mold, mildew, seal plate & center beam was jank.

    @DoubleEgger called this one.

    Hey, that's what inspections are for
    Disappointing I’m sure.  Next

    Bummer on the house. To get that far means you really liked it, but better to walk than to deal with wood destroying insects.  Better luck on the next one @ColtsFan

    I was out working in the garage last evening. I found a cardboard pizza in the deep freeze when out there. The egg was only a few feet away from where I was working. Easy enough.

    Wow, that label burned off nice and clean; excellent!

    EDIT:  Oh, and someone mentioned "canned peas".
    I'm done here.  :barf:
