Rain all day here apparently. Smokeware cap is doing its job. Prepping some ABT's and moink balls for apps.

I worked in the yard for a half hour. I’d be drier standing in the rain. 73 degree dew point is brutal.

Sunset on the Williamson River, which flows in front of our cottage. There are several fishing guides on the river flowing in front of our cottage. They have had some amazing results right here.
My Beautiful Wife took several videos of the otters while the sun was setting, and in the process caught a bald eagle on the bank on other side of the river.q

Second time using the SmoBot.  This time I lit the lump, put in the platesetter, closed Her up and didn't go back out to check for 45 minutes.
When I did, the smoke was clear and the dome thermometer nailed right at 250º; I really like this thing.  Threw in some hickory and Dizzy-Dusted St. Louis', and now just read and wait.

About to head out for a guided whitewater trip down the middle section of the Ocoee River.  Matthew’s first time so we’re going down the “less challenging” part.  Only class IV rapids.  The upper part is home of the ‘96 olympics whitewater competition.

...aaaand just discovered that, after removing the grate to add the hickory, it's a good idea to re-attach the pit temp probe, d'Oh!  Lunch may be a bit early today.
