I just want to thank you all for your largesse given I moved to the land of KY Jelly almost seventeen years ago.  Been good but do need a few more of those free cell phones, banquet tix and house downpayment equity fixin's.  And especially like the SRF food-stamp subsidies.  Only recently started to appreciate how much you all do for us-  

I'll throw a little extra in my envelope on the 15th for you.

But blame reagan, bush, clinton, bush2 for the free 'obama' phones.

Tiger Woods is playing terrible and yet he still makes a fortune in endorsements.

Just because people will by stuff with his name attached.  They think it will make them like him.  Thats stupid.

Like nailing one's  first spatchcock, once one knows what a pure golf shot feels like you want to do it again and again. That's the hard part, you know you can (hit a pure golf shot) but it doesn't repeatedly happen, not even for the guys on TV right now.

As far as "rich white guys", Tiger's father was hardly "rich", neither was Phil Mickelson's. Arnie's father was a golf course superintendent, a sun up to sundown job that does not pay much. Jack's dad owned a small pharmacy, again, hardly "rich"

For most, golf is for the camaraderie, breathing fresh air and it takes one's mind off one's worries for 4-5 hours.

I'm pretty sure NC has the best educated atheletes.

I had to walk 6 miles to school one way.  Carrying 40lbs of books.  No beer lady drove by on her cart offereing refreshments either.  That was 5 days a week.  The other two days were spent bailing hay, shucking corn, or picking cotton.
