Let's see, since a democrat has been in charge the deficit has gone up too 18 trillion dollars.  Now Bush left it at 2 trillion, but he really wasn't a republican in the last few years of his term.  When Billy left there was a surplus, but I don't know if we can ever get back to that.

No, the 18 TRILLION is debt, not deficit. Under O, the National Debt has increased more that from all, repeat ALL, of the former United States Presidents combined.
