Wiring a gfci for planned hot tub
    6 ga/50 amp?

    Yes sir, 10ga ground
I asked my realtor to ask previous owner of my house where the power was to the hot tub that used to be here.....

It was supposedly this 20 Amp circuit...

I thought all hot tubs used larger power.
I ran another 200amp service to my pool - can never have too much access to power.

@kl8ton I know they make 110v hot tubs but I’m not sure how many amps they draw.  My dad had one of these..

0 amps… if you’ve never seen a submerged wood stove it is kinda interesting

My spa electrical was (key word after 18 years of solid performance) 240/60 here in flyover country. It was a Sundance and served us well.  There was a logic circuit on the control board that failed and the replacement was too much.
In a prior life a Sundance was a hacker from 1983 thru home/spa sale in 1998.  With that house becoming a rental in 1984.  FWIW-

Catching up on some news.  Apparently this is the 3rd time for this ship running aground in the past few years.  The resident of the nearby house couldn't be bothered to answer his door . . . "Helberg only discovered the unexpected visitor when a panicked neighbor who had repeatedly rung his doorbell to no avail gave up and called him on the phone.
"The doorbell rang at a time of day when I don't like to open," Helberg told television channel TV2."

And now, the end is near…

But wait - what’s was that?  Palace only went and done it!  Epic scenes as Oli Glasner’s Red & Blue army exposed the nation state sponsored Citeh for what they are; the dysfunctional manifestation of Pep,  and that’s over-cooked Pep whose mind tricks and massive funding have been found out.  But less about them, more about the mighty Eagles……

Final game week and , it’s those guys again : Citeh who are the story with several finishing spots on offer - and each one below 2nd a stab in the ego, for them.

    The last dance begins.

Sunday 1600 - all of them  Huzzah.

Bournemouth v Leicester, meek end to a good season for the Cherries. All fun in the sun, flip-flops ahoy and everyone just going through the motions. Sub-text, when or will the Foxes make it back?  They are now in trouble for their spending so who knows. 1-0

Fulham v Man City, promising season that petered out for Fulham which presents a challenging off-season, how much to spend or whether to consolidate in mid-table?  But, Citeh - can finish between 3rd or 7th, even 2nd if the delta across their and Arsenal’s match is +8 in their favour.  So a 0-9 score here open the possibility of runner-up spot. So we can rule that out.  A defeat can see them 7th and the melt-down of all melt-downs, so let’s opt for that. 1-0.  And the 115 charges await a verdict, so it could all be academic if they are relegated in the off-season.  I doubt that as the appeal will kick in and they’ll start next season under the same cloud.

Ipswich v West Ham, bye-bye Tractor boys, it’s been fun - I suppose. The Hammers have had an abysmal season and need to be sent to their room to think about what they’ve done. 1-1

Liverpool v Palace, champions host cup winners.  Astonishing.  These two will meet in the season opener in 78 days form today - so not too long in the wilderness for you socceristas. Game is of so little importance, only justified on the basis of trophy lifting.  And that’s OK, this time.  1-1

Man Utd v Villa, bin fire season finally ends for a desolate Utd.  What a shambles. Was it the ownership, was t the manager, was it the players?  All of them, thats who.  Villa will take the easy 3 points on offer and nail down the CL finish they crave.

Newcastle v Everton, Toon need the win - probably the only meaningful game this week, to secure CL football next season.  And I strongly suspect the Toffees will field a team of kids and admin staff, as they could not care less. 3-0

Forest v Chelsea, oh hang on, scratch the above, this is big.  Home win sees Forest in the CL while defeat could mean that too - which is odd. Because Chelsea could also qualify through a separate Euro comp that they are finalists for.  Oh my days. Scratch the scratch, this may be highly inconsequential. 2-2

Southampton v Arsenal, the flaccid meet the futile.  How did the Gunners manage to suck the joy out of Runners-up?  Whatever. 0-2

Spurs v Brighton, disappointingly,  an away win opens the door to Europe for the filthy Seagulls.  And it is written by the deep-state that this must occur. Spurs won Euro trophy mid-week and Big Ange pockets £2m after the most abominable season on record, for them.  Mad times. 0-2

Wolves v Brentford, as above part from the invective. The Bees could sneak in to Europe with a win - which feels very very likely. 0-2.

So, farewell my friends.  What a season it’s been?  Well, between sub-par and poor to be fair.  Except those joyous, once in a life time scenes last weekend.  Tears, beers and jubilation, so much so that SWMBO suggest we follow the Mighty eagles across Europe on their maiden voyage.  She sees Paris, Rome, Vienna - but I know it’s one-horse village Kazakhstan and Lithuanian industrial port towns on the agenda. But that’s a conversation for Autumn.  As ever, I wish you a happy cricket season.

Other girls may try to take me away

Calling all Canadians! In the USA, you can swing into an auto parts store and they will scan your computer if your check engine light is on for free and give the code interpretation right there in the parking lot.  Is that a thing in say Alberta?  Any recommendations of a store that would possibly do that?

Good idea not to go nuclear. Both my Large and XL had a cracked base just once over the years, due to crazy hot clean burn one afternoon.

Are you in Alberta? For free code read in Canada AI says Partsource, Autozone, Jiffy Lube.

Thanks @Canugghead, I have some family heading north and the light on their van came on. I’ll tell them to seek out auto zone!

edit: I don’t see auto zone in Alberta. Parts source for the win!

Maintained 750 for just shy of 3 hours. Top band is definitely loose. Will use this opportunity to re-align my bands/dome and base. New Rutland ready to go courtesy of @RRP post final clean out and residual gasket removal (hopefully tomorrow morning)

When I purchased my Audi in '18 I joined a couple forums to see what I could do to enhance her performance.  Most of those threads I clicked on showed a pimply-faced kid with an iPad plugged in under the dash, futzing with the timing and mix ratios...
When I was that pimply-faced kid, we tore the carb apart, changed jets, experimented with different feeler gauge thicknesses for the points and plugs, etc.  Took all the joy out of it for me, and my '18 is still running completely stock (I did change out the wheels, and not for performance).  Sigh.
