My beautiful wife just texted. While preparing for a NYE party we are hosting, my 14-YO son saw my "grilling gloves" resting on Blackstone side shelf outside on the deck.
Sidebar: These gloves have been used for years and years to move hot and GREASY grilling things around. I am not kidding when I say that the amount of grease these have absorbed has probably doubled the weight of the gloves from when they were new. I was contemplating throwing them away and buying new ones.
Well, I forgot to put them away and it has been raining and now snowing. We will be grilling chicken, flank steak and shrimp tonight. To "help" me he just tossed these in the dryer.
