gordie is my older dogs name, the one right behind the pup. jacques/jackie/jack for the pup. 

they are both epagneul bretons, similar to the american french brittany, different colors allowed, slightly smaller, work closer in the field. the breeders seem to force the french naming convention for registration for ukc registration verse the american kennel club. g names for 2011, u names for 2023.

We are missing our buddy, he has been boarded for the next couple days (while we travel).    He will be fine as he is with the Lab, but the house isn’t the same without him tonight.  

At least he has a souvenir from the winning bowl game.

Any recommendations on indestructible dog water bowls / food bowls?  Millie Nelson has become one large and strong girl over the past few months.  Cannot keep her from destroying every bowl we put down for her, even with a large supply of chew toys. Something about the forbidden fruit aspect of that daggome water bowl. Drives me crazy. The calphalon cake pan has been the only dish that has worked.

Petsmart has stainless steel water bowls. The only problem is that the Boxer bangs them when they are empty “service now waiter!”.

I use stainless steel bowls I got from homegoods/TJMax for about $6/a piece.  I also have a Yeti bowl I really like.

We have a screened in back porch that she uses quite a bit. She tends to pickup the deeper stainless steel bowls and bangs them against the glass door. Also hides them in the yard. She’s also chewing the doorknobs. It’s almost like a turner and hooch situation.  She has a harder time tossing the cake pan around being that it’s shallower. When she flips it over, it stays flat and she can’t tote it off as easily. Might just give her the cake pans and replace ours for the kitchen.

We use stainless steel for food and a two quart ceramic for water, all came from Goodwill store.

My wife found 3 RTIC bowls at Home Goods for $8 each. Pups have ceramic food bowls but weighted RTIC bowls for water. 2 inside, 1 out

I can't recall the brand, but we bought a large tank automatic waterer 7-8 years ago and it's still going strong.  None of our dogs have tipped or tried to tip it.

Read the suggestions and just so happened to be right next door to a TJ Maxx earlier. Picked up a RTIC knockoff bowl and one of those maze feeder bowls since she likes to swallow her food in 3 gulps. See if I have better luck. Thx, y’all!

I don't have Christmas with my parents until mid February. My tree will be up until then. I have been in Florida for a while, which is dictating the delayed party. It's just so much nicer than Michigan right now. Ease up there fella!  😉
