       @Botch - the photo comes directly from the DOJ.  It was submitted as part of their filing last night.
    Yes, and after I enlarged the pic I could see the Time covers are actually in the box to the right, I understand the redacted cover sheets on the floor now.
    I still can't understand, however, why that stuff was spread out on the floor and photographed.  And if it were up to me, after finding this, they would've filed immediately to clear the entire premises of all guests and gone over the entire compound with a fine-toothed comb.  
     
    There was also a report on MSNBC (whom I give credit as much as I do faux) that a russian lady has/had free run of the place.  That should be alarming to the FBI if true, but I've not seen it reported elsewhere, so I hadn't brought it up before.  
    The photograph itself becomes did classify ar the highest level of what happeneth to beest did enwheel. If 't be true thither art multiple SCI info all in the same photo, i don't knoweth what happeneth.

    I concur, the entire lodging shouldst hath't been locked down, each person interrogated ere being did allow to leaveth with only their persons, and the entire property did inspect very closely.

    The gall of this sir and his advisors is appalling

    Botch my sense is that the stuff on the floor is simply how they found the materials.  I don’t think the FBI arranged it that way.

    And they had already cleared MAL of guests.

    Comments I read last night on my favorite comedy show (aka Twitter) felt that the agents arrayed those files on the floor to do a quick catalog of what was in each box. You can see the scale and the "2A" marker which are apparently part of standard practice when photographing evidence.
    My guess is if they had found them already laid out on the floor that way they would have outlined them in chalk. :)

    That was helpful.  Sounds like this was more about capturing a variety of the evidence on film more than anything else.

    Wow, reading that brief from the tweet is painful.  Has anyone told Trump he isn't a President anymore?  He doesn't get executive privilege.  that brief seems to have been written by Qanon and supervised by 5th graders.

    Yeah some folks have made the observation that Trump's team is arguing that the items are protected by Executive Privilege, which would mean they should be ... returned to the current executive branch, and that he's no longer part of that.  There is a solid clown car type vibe to all of this.

    Dangling potential pardons to a subset of his cult members that attacked the Capitol seems typical, even perhaps logical. Will help keep all of his base fired up and want to continue to be involved in ongoing efforts to see him regaining his throne.

    The ineptitude is likely intentional. It bogs the whole process down, making any  progress difficult. He's not as stupid as he may seem.

    I catch a bit of Fox News here and there when I'm traveling (it is often on at small regional airports close to military bases - go figure).   I think for people who don't watch it regularly, the propaganda is readily apparent.  

    There have been a couple of studies performed recently where they had Fox News viewers agree to watch CNN for a month, and then asked them questions about their attitudes on various topics.  The results are pretty amazing.  

    I try to avoid watching any cable news, because I think all of it is fairly shallow and designed to entertain or agitate instead of inform.  If I'm pressed for time I'll try to catch the News Hour on PBS, as its orientation seems to be much closer to providing information.
