    That the leadership of the Republican Party cannot unify and just publicly  "declare victory" and move beyond Cheeto is disgraceful at a minimum.  I would venture that if that happened, the immediate firestorm would be quite a show but it would rapidly dissipate and the Dear Leader is no more.  The base would dissolve.
    But such a move takes spine and we all know politicians don't have one.  

    Edit to add the following:
