first successful cook on minimax (last week I had NO idea what I was doing) . Ray Lampe's chicken wings with pink sauce - but we used thighs because we don't like wings !
Just two of us. Got the 350 F controlled fairly well and meat cooked beautifully - Thermapen to check it was cooked through. Served with rice and salad 2 thighs each made a really good meal. Thrilled with the outcome. Maybe a couple more grills and I will try a slow cook .

Stacked Birria Enchiladas with Oaxacan cheese and spring onion, homemade guacamole, and Mexican rice using "Cowboy Ken Rollins" recipe.  He sautees the rice first, never seen that in mexican rice before; I tried that using bacon grease instead of vegetable oil, taste was great but kinda greasy, I'll leave that step out next time.

    Thanks for looking.
Looks tremendous, @Botch. I always get nostalgic seeing your cooks because my parents have the same pattern on their fine china.

They were/are my Mom's fine china, too.  I get a lot of grief on farcebook for still using them, but I just tell them, "When these wear out, I'll update."   ;)

    Goddaamn, @Botch!! That looks FABULOUS!!

I've made some rice recipes (Mexican, Indian pilaf/pulao) that call for sauteeing the rice for a bit. Keeps the rice from getting sticky after it cooks.

Food looks great and all, but I agree that those girls are the stars of the post. I’ve got a little girl just a touch older than your eldest. Enjoy every moment.

@NDG - I didn't really care what the grub looked like after that first pic. Absolutely lovely.

Dude, you  are a piece of work for sure. I and others have given you several ways to stop receiving notifications from this thread.
I’m serious - it’s not our job as forum members to solve your problems. It’s really simple. At the core of things stop clicking on this thread. Next, make sure the thread isn’t marked as a favorite. Finally, choose the full site option (if you are on a mobile device) and click on the forum abuse link.
No need to remove you from the forum. All you need to do is stop visiting the site.

You can solve this problem for yourself. And finally, don’t clutter this thread up with off topic chatter just because you are unhappy.
Got the idea Karen? People here are happy to help. You have to do your part by not being an a$$ wipe.

If I’m gonna eat bugs, they better be crunchy. Or dipped in dark chocolate.
