@caliking haha, speaking of stealing I stole your idea of cutting the green onion at an angle, need more practice to cut them thinner and at a sharper angle

@Canugghead Credit where credit is due: @DoubleEgger is the one who first suggested posting more standalone cook threads to help increase forum participation, especially new members. Definitely makes sense. I would offer that any of your cooks merit the standalone treatment as do many others here. Your call. FWIW-Canugghead said:Tried this Napoleon wing recipe, came out nice. Burgers sliders to be cooked on the Smokin Brothers pellet cooker. Note the hot pepper bacon jam suggested by @Dyal_SC . Found it at Publix today. Will have mashed potatoes as a side as requested by the 5 year old grand daughter.___________________________________

Silky like soft tofu dessert, great for breakfast, appetizer or light meal.

@Canugghead
Mighty fine cook! At first I thought those shrimp were massive, but I’m guessing it’s actually a small-ish dish? -
My schedule precludes delivering to the local small staffed firehouse on Memorial Day and this is the closest I can get given the 8-9 hour cook required for Pepper Stout Beef.
Two chuckies (totaling ~ 5lbs) on the LBGE-
And the $$ shot (not much to see with pulled beef...)
Delivered around 30 minutes ago. They were happy.
Thanks for lookin'.

Very nice, @Canugghead! Quite some years ago, caliprince used to eat that with dinner (without the elevated fixin's), almost daily. We're fans of the super silky texture.
@lousubcap - I'll bet, folks fight to be posted at the firehouse by you.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
That looks fantastic, @lousubcap !

Amazing on all fronts. My only question - why wasn’t this a standalone thread? 🙂lousubcap said:My schedule precludes delivering to the local small staffed firehouse on Memorial Day and this is the closest I can get given the 8-9 hour cook required for Pepper Stout Beef.

@GrateEggspectations - I knew that was coming but thought @Canugghead would throw the high heater just because.
Short answer-very pedestrian cook and not worthy-clearly cook's call.

@lousubcap- definitely a standalone thread... not to mention a very nice gesture for the firehouse. Thank you for doing that!Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Improvised. Had some shrimp, Greek marinade in the freezer, an assortment of fresh veggies, and the remnants of a store-made salad. As per usual, rice was made with Better Than Bouillon (amazing). ‘Da red sauce is ‘Da Bomb.

Thanks, brother. We were agreeing that it was a really nice, balanced meal. Not heavy but entirely satisfying. -
Regarding stand-alone threads-this definitely merits its ow. No high heaters here.GrateEggspectations said:Improvised.
