Green Chile Chicken Stew:
I made a chicken-tortilla soup last week, grilled but didn't use three of the thighs in the pkg, so I froze them for this week. I usually make green chile stew with smoked pork, but this chicken was a nice change.

Great eats, right there. Did you have sides, or was this more of a snack, paired with fine whiskey? -

Sister had a recent birthday and 12 year sobriety anniversary. She wanted beef ribs so I threw on a rack yesterday. She also requested peas, possibly a artifact of the alcohol abuse. The money shot was initially omitted, remembered it part way in, possibly a artifact of my alcohol abuse...LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

Love me some beef ribs. You nailed 'em. Your sister is fortunate to have you in her support corner.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Meat Morning on the Large. Started with some thick bacon from our local butcher in Melbourne, FL as the egg was coming up top temp. Breakfast while the egg got to 250 degrees F. Then Conecuh sausage, regular and hot. Bagged and in refer for future lunches. Costco "Full" brisket from neighbor across the street whose refer died so their stuff is in our spare refer. Frozen turkey and this brisket so I thought I'd do them a solid and cook the brisket.
On the grate at 7:47 am.
Pulled at 205 internal temp, wrapped in HDAF at 11:56 am and resting in the oven. Unfortunately both neighbor families are sick with flu so it will be leftovers for them later. Smells really good though.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

@SamIAm2 - great gesture. That brisket cooked in a bit over four hours??? Something doesn't sound right.
