Just hosted a Thanksgiving weekend (in Canada, anyway) lunch for my in-laws. Egg’d pulled pork, 42-hour sous vide and Egg’d (smoked) brisket point, and super garlicky-cheesy-creamy-buttery mashed potatoes. Served with some nice side salads and washed down with some fall-ish suds. Followed up with apple cake and vanilla ice cream. Cigars and spirits for the finish. For those of you who haven’t yet ventured to do a sous vide brisket, I highly suggest trying it.

Thanks. Sorry to hear you may have to celebrate independently. As if we haven’t done enough of that as of late. 🙃 -
I was craving some SRF Kurobuta pork chops, but came up empty on a freezer check. I did, however, have an SRF Kurobuta loin roast. You know where this is going. I ended up cutting up that 3 lb roast into 4 12 oz chops. They were outstanding.XL BGE, Large BGE, Small BGE, Weber Summit NGMemphis

Nothing to compare to the above- just a filet from Sam's, baked tater and salad. Split the filet and tater with SWMBO. She paired with some Josh and I paired with..................................................................... lawnmower beer!
