Dinner was Blackened snapper, shrimp scampi, lima beans, and risotto.

@GrateEggspectations - A nicely marbled NY Strip steak done to medium rare, and yes not all the butter went on the beets.

Small pork butt just went on for work tomorrow.  Hopefully it turns out ok…trying something new with our rub, honey powder and extra ancho… we shall see

Crazy simple pantry dinner:
Cook 9 oz pappardelle or fettuccine.  Reserve 1/4 cup cooking water and stir in 3 T chili-garlic sauce, 2 T soy sauce, 2 T balsamic vinegar, 1 T grapeseed oil. Mix pasta with sauce.

We used about 1.25 lb flank steak (recipe called for flat iron) sliced into 1.5 wide strips and then sliced against the grain.  Sautéed in 2 T oil with 4 tsp lightly crushed cumin seeds and 1/2 tsp black pepper.  When meat is no longer pink add to the pasta and sauce, and toss to combine.

Definitely appreciate a tasty recipe where boiling water is the longest task.

Something learned today after getting the upper wisdom teeth extracted. There's 40percent daily veggies in a can of spaghettiOs.....

Quadruple recipe of pork stew. Features almost two whole heads of garlic, almost eight pounds of pork butt, and just about every vegetable known to humankind. Finished with a generous knob of butter. 

Distributing the extra to family and friends.

Still a bit warm outside for this kind of dish, but I left the windows open last night and it was 64˚in here this morning; RB&R hit the spot.
