Pulled pork tonight. Used the B&B charcoal logs, and they actually kept my grill temp at 300 for 5.5 hours. Added a few more to get to the 7 hour mark, pulled the butt, and closed vents. Have a couple logs that will make another cook!

Was a bit of an assortment at the neighbour’s place - rack of lamb, chicken breasts, pork sausages and a tomahawk. The host was a little late, so I was asked to cook all of the proteins, which I timed for his arrival. Served with roasted potatoes, green beans and a spinach salad with tomatoes, peppers, sweet onions, roasted walnuts and goat cheese. Olive oil, balsamic and Dijon dressing. Enjoyed with some great chiantis - we dined with Italian friends who were in town.

@GrateEggspectations He!! of a banquet right there. Way to deliver an exceptional spread. The menu would stand out in any fine dining establishment. I would crush all of that and make room for more.
No car drives (Chiantis...) in this mix??

@GrateEggspectations - I have a feeling that the late arrival was intentional That's quite the spread!#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.
