Well the key steer and the chicken got to talking. It was not a key chicken by any means because it was big enough to see over the dairy stool (more on that later) but it sure got offended with the comment about the fit of that beer can. In pursuit of the last word it started boasting about ham and eggs and how it’s only a day’s work for one of them. Well food pyramids sure are a tough Coca-cola peanut to swallow when fate intervenes.Sautéed greens beside a baguette marinated chicken breast sandwich with provolone mayo and pesto. The cow was a last word freak too, pulling out some old moldy memories from the dairy stool and the cave which was a day’s work long ago. If he only knew we’re picking up hamburgers and steaks tomorrow.

@MasterC, @lousubcap
Thanks, but it goes both ways, which is why I so appreciate the opportunity to do it. -
@GrateEggspectations - that's so much more than a fine gesture. Fine doesn't begin to describe how grand you are.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

@caliking
That’s far too generous. Thank you. Got to have a quick beer with him during drop-off, and I bet the chance to socialize did him more good than the nutritional sustenance. -

Weather cooperated and rolling burgers here too. The homemade bacon is a real upgrade for toppings.

Last nights meal. This is 1 Of 10 round steaks I got off of my 1/4 calf purchase. The cowboy cut with sirloin still attached. Smothered down in a gravy. Friggin delicious

Shy side of 250. Pork is at 182 now and we’re almost at 9 hours in. This one is a little flatter the way it was cut so I was expecting under 12 hours and a lunch and dinner cook. It is from Publix while it was a tad over-butchered it took less prep effort than the Costco ones which frankly are sometimes like rodeo tying a jellyfish.

Ok it left the egg at around 10 hrs 45 min at 195-200 in various spots. Foil towel cooler rest for 1hr and 15mins then pulled at 12 hours from start of cook. It looked like I wouldn’t have any rendered fat to add back but there was plenty hiding under the foil in the drip pan. Fat cap was trimmed off before cook.

@kl8ton Here you go, this is a recipe a co-worker sent me.

I’ve only had chicken tikka masala one other time so I don’t have much to compare to but this was pretty good.
I also used this garlic butter rice recipe for this rice
