  • Collings OM-1 incredible acoustic with great sound. Bunch of strings for this and my 1980 Guild D-40, 2 mandolins and 2 fiddles
Beautiful Collings. Love the OM size. My guitar buying has slowed down as of late, but your bout of GAS is contagious.

I just counted all our string instruments....around 22.  Unless it's free, I'm trying to quit that obsession.

There are some stringed instruments you shouldn’t take even if free. There’s a reason there are lots of free pianos to be had if you pay to move them.  :)

No worries.  I'd be out on the street if I brought home a piano.  Our house is tiny.  (Hmmmm...but for the shop....)

Some of the videos I've watched of Starlink users show them getting excellent speeds as good as fiber.

Will be interesting tho to see what speeds everyone gets when everyone in the hood is using Starlink.

Speed isn't the issue, it depends how annoying the lag is. Not a problem for streaming but it might ruin the eggheadforum experience.

Wagon and chemical sprayer. Sadly I'll have to add a mixing meter downstream of the pump for corrosive such as hypochlorites.  Tank is 26 gallons, pump 12V 70 psi regulated pressure, auto shutoff, diaphragm.

No email or phone call, although I have been on a waitlist for months.  My son saw they opened the beta and they let me pre-order.  Supposed to deliver mid-year .... Since it is Elon, mid-year could be 2021, 2022, or even later, but it is at least a step forward.  It is a race between Starlink and 5G.

Latency I have seen is on reviews is around 45-70ms.  Compared to my over the air barely broadband which averages 170 ms, I will take it!

I'm in a rural area too. I pay $70 for 15Mbps/1 up. Which is why I signed up for beta Starlink. However, I am supposed to have gigabit fiber available within 180 days so I am holding off on Starlink for now

Thanks for the heads up. I went back into the "sign-up page" and now it's telling me I can go ahead and put my $99 deposit down. This is a game changer for me.

Found a new local butcher that is also a meat processor. Could see in the back stainless tables lined up with a guy breaking down a side of beef like 10’ in. It was my first time so just tried a couple things but the guy in the back asked me if there was anything I needed cut and said they will custom cut whatever I want. Grabbed filets, ribs, chicken wings, jalapeño beef sausage, and some beef jerky.

@GrateEggspectations - In a hobby/cover band - we play all sorts of stuff from Johnny Cash to The Doobie Brothers to Dolly Parton to Jason Isbell to the Foo Fighters to Post Malone to Stevie Wonder to Tyler Childers to...

The fun/interesting thing is I share bass duties with another guy in the  band - he plays acoustic rhythm and I grab the Les Paul when not on bass for some lead but mostly riffs & rhythm as well, then we have a 3rd guitarist who's our lead.  Then a drummer and a female singer rounds us out!

We play about once a month at a microbrew pubhouse here during the season - hopefully we can again starting in April!

I pay $60/ month for 600 down 25 up. It's crazy fast. Speed tested today clocked in at 700+ down.  Fiber is available but slower and more money.

Its up by the north Georgia outlet mall. Its not nicer than Pattons but they did have a pretty decent selection. Worth checking out for sure though. http://www.thesteelbuffalobutchery.com/

Their website doesnt have much info I saw them by a friend on facebook. This is one of the screenshots I took from a facebook post.
