Saw a video of this thing being used, and I was amazed at how much faster it is than my KitchenAid grinder attachment.
Went to Cabela's website, and it was $50 off. Been watching comparison videos the last couple days, put together this list:
Cabela's, 1/2 HP, steel, $400 $350
Sportsman’s Warehouse, LEM 1/2 HP, steel, $379Sausage Maker, 1/2 HP (370 W), steel, 42 lbs, $499Meat your Maker, 1/2 HP Dual Grind, $499Cuisinart, 3,000 W, $99Aobosi 2,000 W, (spelled Aaobosi at Amazoid, 3,000 W), $169
Found videos of most of them in action, the last two were quite slow and noisy (and a lot of the entries at amazoid are fast and loose with the wattage decimal point); the Cabela's guy was dropping in 1.25"-sqr strips of brisket in and not needing the food pusher at all, incredibly fast and soo quiet. It was also the only one with that black, freezer-gel jacket (black thing wrapped around the auger housing, neat idea). Probably overkill for as often as I grind meat, but I despise buying junk that breaks in a year or so. Should be here Wednesday.___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."

My cousin Billy dated a sausage stuffer in high school. Judging from what he told me you should get one with no fingernails, otherwise you'll be picking them out of your bum for weeks.

The Man in the Brown Shorts™ brought her today, and with a large box at 46 pounds, I had trouble even picking the damn thing up; I may have a bit of overkill here. Compared to my old KitchenAid Artisan mixer:KitchenAid mixer: $400, 22 lbs, 325 watts
Cabelas grinder: $350, 46 lbs, 720 watts
I think I may have to replace my countertop meat slicer with this beast, and carry the slicer up and down the stairs when I need it; this thing's too heavy (my kitchen is small).
It also came with a couple new features I hadn't seen advertised; the three nylon stuffer tubes have ridges inside them, and a nylon auger inside those tubes which supposedly stuffs the meat much more efficiently. And it came with the below fourth stuffer tube, with a screw-on 1/2" steel tube for making snack-sticks! Argh, because of my blood pressure (now under control) my Dr. made me quit drinking, but being able to make inexpensive SlimJims, which go so well with cold beer.... argh!
Next grocery run I'll pick up a small brisket, chuck roast, and short ribs to make some "prime" burgers, to break Her in. Then do sausages, and if that new auger thingie works well I may have a very-lightly-used 5-lb LEM sausage stuffer cylinder for sale (to be continued).
EDIT: Oh yeah, the drawer below the unit now opens to the side, and I think it's a bit deeper; but it doesn't hold the stuffer tubes because, with their internal ridges, they don't nest at all. No biggie.

Don't all wallet's have ridges at some point?

In my traditional wallets I always carried a “Tile”, but didn’t have a good solution for the Ridge Wallet. However, the misses got me an IPhone for Christmas so it opened up the AirTag option for me. With the ubiquity of IPhones, I suspect it will be, ultimately, a better solution than a Tile.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

Just this morning I was thinking I wanted to do some type of pancake breakfast for my church. (We are a small church.) Not small enough where my 36" and 17" Balcktones will cover the amount of pancakes I would need to cook in the short amount of time I'd have.
Not even 5 hours later this pops up on Marketplace for $50.
She's been neglected and stored outdoors in the elements. Beggars can't be choosers at $50. It needs a bath. The griddle top needs to be completely stripped and re-seasoned. The paint is pretty faded but that shouldn't hurt anything. With a little TLC, this thing should be slinging pancakes at church in no time!

I'd check with your neighbors first if it's a bass boat."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

I'll need an extra set of hands with pouring and flipping with two Blackstones going with pancakes.
Last year I saw a couple guys struggling with loading stuff into their trucks and I asked how I could help. My few minutes of helping turned into a half hour of loading equipment. Which was fine as the one guy had shoulder surgery not too long ago. I noticed their license plate said, "Iowa" on it. Then it all clicked. My coworker was telling me earlier in the year about how some guys turned flipping pancakes into a whole catering event/career. These were the guys who my coworker was telling me about earlier in the year!

Picked up some Penzey's Spices and got a sweet mug. They are doing free giveaways every Tuesday until election day!

Well there will now be a reason why I will not be buying any Penzeys. It is not because of their spices at all, rather a company using their prowess to promote politics (one way or another). Don't read too much into this because I do not buy anything "My Pillow" nor "Ben and Jerry's" (and a many others).
Leave politics out and just make good products and I'll be in.
