Saw a video of this thing being used, and I was amazed at how much faster it is than my KitchenAid grinder attachment.

Went to Cabela's website, and it was $50 off.  Been watching comparison videos the last couple days, put together this list:

    Cabela's, 1/2 HP, steel, $400 $350
    Sportsman’s Warehouse, LEM 1/2 HP, steel, $379
    Sausage Maker, 1/2 HP (370 W), steel, 42 lbs, $499
Meat your Maker, 1/2 HP Dual Grind, $499
    Cuisinart, 3,000 W, $99
    Aobosi 2,000 W, (spelled Aaobosi at Amazoid, 3,000 W), $169

Found videos of most of them in action, the last two were quite slow and noisy (and a lot of the entries at amazoid are fast and loose with the wattage decimal point); the Cabela's guy was dropping in 1.25"-sqr strips of brisket in and not needing the food pusher at all, incredibly fast and soo quiet.   It was also the only one with that black, freezer-gel jacket (black thing wrapped around the auger housing, neat idea).  Probably overkill for as often as I grind meat, but I despise buying junk that breaks in a year or so.  Should be here Wednesday.   B)

Nice move, I hope to some day break free from the kitchen aid. I bought this stuffer last year https://waltons.com/7-lb-sausage-stuffer/

Yeah, I bought a similar sausage stuffer (5-lb) after trying to use the KA; the grinder worked but struggled, and the stuffer was useless.

My cousin Billy dated a sausage stuffer in high school. Judging from what he told me you should get one with no fingernails, otherwise you'll be picking them out of your bum for weeks.

My current pizza IR thermometer doesn't go high enough. I ordered one that goes to 1,382 F, which I expect will do the job.

No concerns it’ll create a ridge in your pocket? Will it reside external to the housing?

I replaced the external money clip with this alternate version that houses the AirTag.  It definitely is thicker than I would like, however, I feel it is worth that trade off for added security.

In my traditional wallets I always carried a “Tile”, but didn’t have a good solution for the Ridge Wallet.  However, the misses got me an IPhone for Christmas so it opened up the AirTag option for me.  With the ubiquity of IPhones, I suspect it will be, ultimately, a better solution than a Tile.

Just this morning I was thinking I wanted to do some type of pancake breakfast for my church. (We are a small church.) Not small enough where my 36" and 17" Balcktones will cover the amount of pancakes I would need to cook in the short amount of time I'd have.

Not even 5 hours later this pops up on Marketplace for $50.

She's been neglected and stored outdoors in the elements. Beggars can't be choosers at $50. It needs a bath. The griddle top needs to be completely stripped and re-seasoned. The paint is pretty faded but that shouldn't hurt anything. With a little TLC, this thing should be slinging pancakes at church in no time!
That got me thinking.  I would like to take my entire church on a luxurious boat ride.   Hmmmm... I'll start looking at Facebook marketplace for boats.

Also once you dial in your pancakes. . . by the time you're done dropping the batter for the last one it's time to flip the first one.  I always always end up using more water than the recipe calls for.

I'd check with your neighbors first if it's a bass boat.

I'll need an extra set of hands with pouring and flipping with two Blackstones going with pancakes.

Last year I saw a couple guys struggling with loading stuff into their trucks and I asked how I could help. My few minutes of helping turned into a half hour of loading equipment. Which was fine as the one guy had shoulder surgery not too long ago. I noticed their license plate said, "Iowa" on it. Then it all clicked. My coworker was telling me earlier in the year about how some guys turned flipping pancakes into a whole catering event/career. These were the guys who my coworker was telling me about earlier in the year!

All those flying pancakes makes my anxiety go off the rails.
