I use the 18v adapter on a few of my tools, it’s a pita but I can’t buy new stuff every time they change batteries.poster said:

Footjoy Premiere Series Field white/brick. A little spendy but happy if I get 2 years out of them. I play about 85 round per year…all walking so support and comfort are key.TechsasJim said:

Support and comfort are #1 in my golfing shoe book! I play about 180 rounds a year and more than half are walking. I usually go through 3 pairs a year. I'm currently on a Sketchers kick although the last pair I bought lasted only 40 rounds or so. When they go bad they go bad!!! Ecco's I believe are the most comfy!!!!!MJG said:

Maybe he is a Pro and that isn’t free time? It’s his job. Then on weekends and holidays he goes into an office and fills out TPS reports?DoubleEgger said:

I play 40 rounds a year tops. Hence why I’ll never break 80. Adidas Tour 360’s and the new Adidas UltraBoost. I walk 90% of that. Electric walking cart for the win

Touring pros always walk. Club pros don’t have time to play that many rounds. They are too busy teaching and doing TPS reports.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I had to burn a little time before a meeting so I stopped in a nearby Sam's Club this afternoon. I wasn't planning on doing any grocery shopping but I was curious to see if there was any differences between Clubs. Let's be honest, all I cared about was their meat department. So I took a quick look around and I hear, "Holy Cow." I look over and I see this guy looking at the briskets. I think to myself, "Yeah, I can't believe they are asking $5-6/lb for Choice brisket either." The guy goes, "How is this brisket only $40?" My next thought was, "You better not put that in your cart you SOB!"
He looks at his wife and says, "How can this only be $40 and Prime? How can it be this cheap? Do think we will get sick?" At this point I'm about to bang my head against the wall listening to this conversation. I mean who says, "Will we get sick?" At this point this guy doesn't deserve a $40 brisket. I watch him pick up this floppy brisket and he closely examines it like he's going to tell if he's going to get sick or not from it. He then says, "If we buy this brisket I'll need to slice it up tonight and cook it." At this point I was about to grab the brisket from him and club him in the back of the head with it just so I didn't have to keep listening to this stupid conversation. This guy was literally scared of getting sick because of the price point and that it had to be cooked stat! This guy was just playing with my emotions at this point. He thought better of the situation and put the brisket back down and moved onto the next meat that caught his eye. I made a beeline to the briskets afterwards. There it was. A floppy Prime brisket for $35! It took me a whole 3 seconds to decide if I wanted it or not. There was another $2.99 Prime brisket but it was pushing 17 lbs. I was tempted to pick that one up as well but it needed some heavy trimming. I didn't feel that it was worth the savings but man that would have been a fun one to cook! The rest of the briskets were $5+ lb. I was very fortunate that I was just able to throw it in the bed of my truck with it being the one random cold day this week and still catch my meeting.

If you can break 90 you are doing well and better than 75% of golfers I believe. +1 on the electric cart, mine is my favorite thing I’ve ever bought myself.ColbyLang said:I play 40 rounds a year tops. I consistently hover between 85-92. Bogey golf with the occasional eagle look on a par 5 or maybe a lucky low iron shot into a par 4 with a tap in birdie. No gimmes allowed. Flat golf all the wayMJG said:

I have a lot of buddies like you, retired early and live in a golf community with private carts, etc that play 6x/week. I’m a member of the same club, live 10 mins away and couldn’t imagine playing that much. Friday/Saturday is enough for me.bradleya123 said:DoubleEgger said:
