  • I will call Monday and get details. I am assuming it’s a pre released deal not for sale or test drive, just curious though. I am not really in the market until next year and it looked cool but I am more likely into a used 150 for a running around vehicle

They are 3 and 4 cylinder engines. I’d might wait til the real trucks are released. These are grocery getters. Unless that’s what you're looking to get. Still they look cool aesthetically.

Yes @WeberWho I do recall is saying that on the back.
I bet you saw the new smaller sport version of the Bronco. Kind of like the Bronco II back in the day. That will compete against the 4 runner, Equinox, Terrain, CRV, etc.

The Bronco Sport doesn't get a whole bunch of love like it's bigger sibling has had in the press. Ford should have launched these two vehicles at different times. I can see why you might not have known about the Sport. Little to no coverage on it unless you're looking for it.

    DEAL ALERT!!!!

This is around $30 off what they normally cost and this is the best pepper mill in the world.  Still not cheap, but you will thank me.  And you won't be able to shut-up about it to the chagrin of your friends.

I'm seeing it listed for $49.00.
Is this the sale price? or did I miss the sale?

It was $40.  Guess they raised the price.  Still better than 80.

I found this mixer at the thrift store for $6 pre-covid. I spent a couple hours cleaning it up. It was nasty. It had all kinds of food scraps that somehow found there way into the plastic handle with no way out. I drilled a couple holes into the handle and snuck some brushes and detergent into it.

After cleaning it up and losing track off time I decided it was time to fire it up and see how it works. To no avail, it was dead. As dead as it could be. I was kind of ticked at myself for spending that much time cleaning it up and not checking to see if it worked. It was supposed to be a quick rinse but ended up turning into a full detail job without much thought. So I stashed it away. Out of sight out of mind.

I was doing some major cleaning and moving things around this morning and I came across it. My initial thought was to toss it or put it on Craigslist for free. Then I thought I better give it one more college try. This time when plugging it in I saw a blue indicator light. Which maybe came on before but it gave me a push or hope to figuring this thing out. I rotated the cup until I had the handle sticking straight out in front of the processor. Which I thought no way Kitchenaid would put a handle out in front of the food processor and in the way. Was I wrong. It fired right up. I'm used to my other food processor where the safety feature is on the locking lid and you could adjust the cup and handle in a couple different locking locations. Apparently not with this one. The food processor was minutes away from hitting the trash. 100% the operators fault. Still a terrible design for a handle location.

She purs compared to my older food processor from the 80's. It's ugly, heavy, but built like a tank. It's stained from making bbq sauce.

I plan on keeping it around for bbq sauce or anything that might stain the newer one.

Here is a shot of the new one.

I have a steel knife that goes half way down and a plastic knife that goes to the bottom.

It appears to be missing the bigger steel knife. I can't imagine they expect you to only use a plastic knife towards the bottom of the cup.

Not a bad grab for $6. I believe they were $200+ new for this 12 cup version. I'm just glad it's not a paper weight and only the idiot operator!

I rarely need big sockets but when I do, nice to have a set.  I have some pipes I use for cheater bars.  Sometimes the best way to get something off is impact wrench, heat, or some combination.

Costco had these for under $100 on New Years day. They've been around for years and are solid.

Amazon is charging $10 a box, insane. Costco used to carry it for $2. So I just called the company and they said the only stores you can buy it in are Whole Foods and some other grocery chain I've never heard of, but they are working diligently to get it back on store shelves.  Something about selling off their "table salt" division so companies across the US got confused and just dropped them entirely.

I think the 3 pack got it down to 7-8 dollars/box when I bought it, but yeah, it's crazy

Just picked up some at Publix this weekend. Plenty left on the shelf too. Not that brand but plenty.

Publix has plenty of Morton's, but I don't like the large grain size for general cooking. Diamond Crystal has a very unique snow-like texture.

Found a local restaurant supply that has it. I'm going to pick up a case tomorrow.  You're right about the price going up - it's $5.80 a box now, ouch.
