Waited 9 months for our new sofa. Sofa showed up and it is not the color we ordered.  Store insisted it was.  Luckily, my wife took a photo of the leather swatch.  After some research, the store called us back and informed us, one of the leather swatches (the one we picked) was not representative of the leather (i.e. old lot, labeled wrong, something).  The store offered us a 10% discount or remake the sofa.  I think they thought we were searching for a discount, because they were surprised we picked remake.  We are having the sofa remade and they are letting us use the current one until new one is delivered.  We sold our old one to make room so other option was lawn chairs.  This time they are sending a cutting from the factory for confirmation.  So now we wait 27 weeks after approval of leather sample.

Has been an unhappy couple of days while they sort this out.  The shade delivered clashes with everything else in our house.  I have no design sense and I can even tell.  We had even taken the large leather sample home when we started this process to confirm before we ordered.  Seems like a big ooppsie by the store, but I am very glad they are making it right.

Wife fights this constantly in her job. We opted to have our sofa and live seat reupholstered instead of waiting 6 months for new stuff, saved us over 75% of the money as well. Sorry y’all are fighting this, it sucks

Circling back to Goodr sunglasses. Ordered 2 pairs. One doesn’t fit my wide head like I would like them to. Initiate return. Full refund, go head and keep them as we do green returns only on select items. Never had that happen before. Glasses I kept are awesome

I am ion the market for new sunnies.  Never heard of these before,  love the names.
Save me the bother looking - what are they like compared to Oakleys? Last proper pair I bought were Flak XLJ with the polarised lenses.

Other girls may try to take me away

They aren’t wrap around style like Oakley or Spy or Costa. More like Ray Bans. Plastic frames and lenses. I intended to keep the BFG, now keeping both the OG and BFG

I had a sofa set for twenty one years. We got rid of it because, it eventually smelled like bum, feet, and old beaks. It looked ok though, should have found some nose-less cult to sell it too, come to think of it. Damn! Always .. when I'm writing on here ... I have my very best thoughts. It's a curse really.

Nice.  I got two packages of the burger patties, Denver steak (never tried one but buddy recommended it), and gold grade tomahawk ribeye.  I've cooked one of these ribeye's on the 4th of July for the past couple of years.  Makes me feel very patriotic.

I know what you mean.  I like to imagine chewing on some sweet British tears while I'm biting into that delicious ribeye.

@saluki2007 - you will really enjoy that Denver steak.  Their outside skirt and hangar steaks are exceptional as well if looking for some "different" cuts.

I’ve done their skirt a couple of times. I agree it a good one.

What is SRF? I googled it and first hit was Self-Realization Fellowship....somehow I don't think they sell meat.

ok, found Snake River Farms.  WOW. those prices are $$$$. That's something I couldn't justify spending money on. I bet they are good though

Give it a year.  I thought the same.  It is worth the spend. I will say that I pay much closer attention to the egg when rolling an SRF product.

It’s a treat for sure.  There is some self-realization, and fellowship - involved!

  • The safety on my TS4000 is busted, meaning it’ll ignite in both the “on” and “off” positions. Is this a clear sign I should replace it?

I believe it’s guaranteed for life.

Have my TS8000 since 2017 with no issues. Just checked to confirm I still have the online receipt.
Thanks for suggesting this. After a speedy email exchange with Benzomatic, they are sending a replacement. Great customer service!

Apparently in a couple of weeks we’ll be getting 2 pins in the knee and a repaired ACL for the chihuahua.
Are you using Chesapeake Vet Surgical Specialist in Annapolis? We've had two done there, a TPLO for our Shepard when he blew out his CCL and surgery to fix a grade 4 luxation of my boxer's patella. Great outfit from my experiences. Thank baby Jesus for pet insurance.

Agree it’s not cheap. But it is worth it. I do not pay full price though. I always wait for a sale then buy a few items.

If you think it's expensive, just compare it to taking the family out to Ruth's Chris.

I just bought $70 worth of sausages at the local "whole animal" butcher. I don't want to get anybody excited, but I'm gonna eat at least one of them the long way. I saw it on the dark web once, ok twice ... maybe three times ...

@Acn score right there.  Based on your location I suspect it is regional but will seek out.

Ran to Rockford for a Binny's stock up.  2 handles of Crown Royal, 2 handles of Crown Apple, one handle of Johnnie Walker Black, and 1 bottle of Crown Peach.  That should last a couple of weeks.
