I step away to tell my son to grab a bottle of not quite unicorn rye whisky and when I get back...poof.
Anyhow-really appreciate @Eoin , @CPFC1905 and @Stormbringer's participation this evening (AM over there). It was quite enjoyable, enlightening and always a learning event. Great fun.

Now- I am game to carry-on, firing up again around 9 PM (EDT) as I have been pacing for the long haul. So, if you are so inclined I will "see" you then.

Great session last night, SWMBO was very impressed with @nolaegghead 's cat. And of course @Eoin sharing a clip of someone peeing in his flowerbeds

Morning chaps - great to see you all!
I will be circulating an exam paper for you all soon about British roads and the habits of our countryside cohort.
My 'take-aways',- we pay too much for meat,
- VW Camper transaxle chat is a six hour rabbit hole unless nipped in the bud early,
- @lousubcap is an old adversary of Sean Connery, and,
- when I grow up I will sell charcoal for a living because I want a truck with cameras on it (and a Polaris to catch oil from a Renault, sorry De Lorean)
Go here : https://shop.cpfc.co.uk/pumakit/ to coordinate with my clothing on the next one.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -
I'd add to that list of takeaways learning that @CPFC1905 is one of those people who doesn't eat cheese with crackers
.

i can’t believe I missed the cheese conversation. I used to own a grocery/wine/cheese shop in Wisconsin. If you sell booze and cheese at the same time in Wisconsin you are Pretty much a demigod. When I was a kid i used to trick-or-treat for cheese instead of candy with my neighbors on Halloween (true story).Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -

I thought I would get out of the port around 3:00pm yesterday. Unfortunately I didn’t. Party has ended up indoors because the weather is terrible. Covid is low round here, plus this lot will be together at school next week. They like Egged food. A few beers are being drunk as we speak (we've de-camped to another room). The Cen-Tex Smoker said:

@Eoin - Thanks for the update as your menu last night sounded very impressive. Never a doubt about them enjoying your efforts. You may need to transition to some serious adult rocket fuel once this winds down/up??

I had too much last night. I'm a sucker for lime based drinks, so too many caipirinas, followed by the rye. Food went down well and they're a reasonably well behaved bunch.lousubcap said:@Eoin - Thanks for the update as your menu last night sounded very impressive. I read the book before seeing the movie. I was hanging out with an English professor one time and he played the entire film, stopping it frequently to explain the nuances hidden in the plot. He taught it as a subject in one of his classes.______________________________________________I love lamp.. -
