You may have forgotten that you trained him well. That is how to live.  "Do what you say you are going to do, don't dance around it." Once you are good with that approach, life becomes much simpler. 

However, I get the "we need to do lunch" or equivalent crap in the business circles but why be the one to offer if you know full well it is just bull$hit and so does the recipient?  Off minor-soap box.

Glad you will be at the trans-oceanic watering hole tomorrow.

@northGAcock - according to (unnamed and will remain so) sources, the "normal Friday Zoom sessions" are happening too late to enable your participation along with some annual celebration(s) that also interfere.  So, tomorrow is kicking off around 5 PM (EDT) and if that's too late then you need to be in a full up retirement home.

I’ll do my bestest. Had planned a trip to the NC mountains, but the threat of rain sceered me. I maybe shouldn’t have bailed knowing the weather gussers really ain’t got their arms around one of them hurricanes (where they have a hankerin to want to go)....you know? Anyway........I’ll try to join ya.

Time to get serious about dropping in.  If this is too early especially for the left coast, the virtual watering hole will continue well into the late evening hours with some pacing.
