Folks I haven't looked into whether you need to load a Zoom program first, or just clonk on the lonk provided by the OP; there have been some security issues with Zoom but it looks like a bunch of them were just corrected in v5.0:

My understanding is that any security concerns here are on my end, since I am hosting the meeting. I appreciate this kind of concern but I really don't think there is cause for worry for anyone else logging on. The program will not ask you to provide your own email address or your own password. All you need to enter is the password I've provided, and it is the same for everyone. Last weekend, I was able to click on a link, type in the provided password, and join a bunch of yahoos pretending to be adults. Didn’t have to set up an account or provide any other details, IIRC.
