Covid-19 is way down on the killing people everyday list
Cardiovascular disease is not contagious. This important distinction is what makes makes the medical community so worried about Covid-19.
    not contagious in what sense?

    it absolutely is contagious
    Kindly enlighten us.
might require some serious "outside the box" thinking.
    Not really.

    1. If I have atherosclerosis, and then sneeze on you, lick you, share needles/blood products/body fluids with you... there is 0% chance you will get atherosclerosis because of those actions.

    2. Koch's postulates do not apply to heart disease.

We all know this. I just want to hear his version. Is it too early to make a bag of popcorn?

would one agree that by definition when something is "contagious", it can be spread by both indirect and direct contact?
Can you explain this a little more?  How do you imagine people are acquiring cardiovascular disease through any form of contact?  Can you give us a concrete example?
would one also agree that a major contributing factor of cardiovascular disease is a poor diet?

Well, first of all, that doesn’t answer my question.  But is your view here that heart disease is contagious because one can acquire it through contact with food?

I asked you first pal.  If you expect me to answer your questions, you need to answer mine too.  It's not a one-way street.

But I'll play along anyway, why not.  I think it's pretty well established that diet is connected to heart disease.  I don't know that it's more important than genetics, but for sure an unhealthy diet can lead to obesity, diabetes, and etc. and those all increase the risk of CVD.

ok..agreed, so why would the thought not be entertained that if diet is a contributing factor, "spread from one person or organism to another by direct or indirect contact", and so many people have this and they most likely don't have it as a hereditary issue.

would it be feasible to deduct one could "catch" this by eating at McDonald, Wendy's, Zaxby's, etc..

They hand out cardiovascular disease through a window every day, small doses but none the less....

to add, if everyone created social distancing from the above establishments for a good period of time it would be my belief that CVD would actually drop..

This is my opinion, because i also believe the general public will not stop going to these establishments and eating trash.

No, people are not "catching" cardiovascular disease through drive-through windows.   It seems to me that fundamentally you simply do not understand the entire concept of infection and what it means for something to be contagious.

you can help with the study..

    1. day 1 - determine you are in adequate health heart health - no CVD
    2. eat fast food everyday - breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a few years
    3. publish your findings from you GP

    you can help the cause...

if you didn't originally have it...and you got it....where did it come from...

You clearly don't understand the concept of infection or contagion, and that's fine. As stated before, atherosclerosis (resulting from an unhealthy diet or lifestyle) does not satisfy Koch's postulates (look them up).

If I go lay on the beach all day long on a bright sunny day the odds are that I am going to get a sunburn.
So, I have learned, after reading your deep thoughts, that sunburn is (by your definition) "contagious".
If I am slicing some veg with my razor sharp gyuto, while trying to read and make sense of one of your posts, I lose focus and then slice my finger.
So, I have learned, after reading your deep thoughts, that knife cuts are (by your definition) "contagious".
    Yadda yadda yadda.

Not in the way you think they are.

Junk food= dysbiosis= atherosclerosis is not the full story by any stretch.

And if you still want to go on about CVD being "infectious" because of diet effects on your gut microbiota... well then, bless your heart.

    Oh good grief.

You clearly don't understand the concept of infection or contagion, and that's fine. As stated before, atherosclerosis (resulting from an unhealthy diet or lifestyle) does not satisfy Koch's postulates (look them up).

And although its not my job to educate or inform the idiots of the world, I'll leave this link here so you can learn some stuff about heart disease(s):

    https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/heart-disease/symptoms-causes/syc-20353118
    https://www.iflscience.com/health-and-medicine/your-gut-bacteria-don-t-junk-food-even-if-you-do/

i really don't give a $#!T if you all don't believe the view, but there is something to it..

and as fat as Koch's postulates (which i read through), microbes are affected by diet.

people get CVD at an alarming rate in this country, and most is from diet.

Schedule the discussion of the effect of diet on one's microbiome for another day.

One at a time. Chase after the squirrels in your head one at a time.

    they are related...ya jack hole
Not in the way you think they are.

Junk food= dysbiosis= atherosclerosis is not the full story by any stretch.

And if you still want to go on about CVD being "contagious" because of diet effects on your gut microbiota... well then, bless your heart.

you can help with the study..

    1. day 1 - determine you are in adequate health heart health - no CVD
    2. eat fast food everyday - breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a few years
    3. publish your findings from you GP

I read earlier today where Moscow Mitch is pushing the impeachment was responsible for distracting Our Dear Leader from responding to the Covis19 virus earlier. This really sums up how that spin just isn't credible. LOL
