I made ribs.... In the Instant Pot and then caramelized them under the broiler. I feel ashamed, but SWMBO was adamant. Evidently Pinterest claimed them as the best ever.

Glazed them in a sweet/hot bourbon glaze from Pepper Palace. Which was delicious... I'll definitely use that on egged ribs next time

I heard that, last night we went out to eat and she didn’t like what she ordered so I offered to trade plates, after taking the helm at my delectable pork chop she informed me she still wanted her fries...South of Columbus, Ohio.

That is simply a “refill” puck. You can buy just about any shaving soap in a refill puck. This is simply to save the cost of rebuying a bowl/dish that you already have. I mostly order pucks as I already have several bowls and dishes.
Simply put in a bowl such as one of these:
A empty shoe polish tin:
A empty soap jar that you already have such as this ceramic Tabac jar.
A plastic food container from the Dollar Store that has a lid.
Another porcelain glass soap dish from from MWF.
Simply press the puck down into the dish. It should look something like this:
Pucks come in different sizes. If you have a small puck, any coffee cup or mug will work just fine.
Small puck in a cheap coffee cup.
For the record, that’s actually a very good soap you have right there. Learn to properly lather it and you will be more than impressed my friend.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

This may not be the right place to post this but I really miss brother @badinfluence. He was an incredible individual, while never meeting in person, I could just tell from our few interaction he was a mans man. Loved seeing his photos and loved his logo.

@alaskanassasin 's thread Lurker Check off OT
has surfaced several members. Impressive cooks from those who live in the shadows. I doubt those who have posted were influenced by the good 'ol days but since this place has been mellowed who knows... 😎
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Much more fun to hang out with than his brother, @badflatulence.

Not cool man. Not cool.

Agreed. I was lucky enough to buy his small egg before his passing.

@Eggdicted_Dawgfan @The Cen-Tex Smoker @DoubleEgger @alaskanassasin : I take it from the reactions that badinfluence is no longer with us - something that had not been apparent to me from @ryantt ‘s post. I had simply and genuinely understood that he was a former forum member who was no longer active on the forum - especially in the context of a thread marked “where are they now?” about members going silent. Apologies if my intent was misconstrued and if I unintentionally offended anyone.
