Sorry for the delay fellows. Due to bad weather the internet has been on and off for days and running at a snails pace when it is on.
That aside, the underground brisket was a total bust. Nothing I did wrong. About 4 hours into the cook and heavy rain rolled in. It has rained pretty steady ever since. When the rain finally quits and the mud dries up, I will did it up and post a pic of the muddiest brisket that you have ever seen. Looking at the forecast the brisket will probably stay buried at least another 3-4 days.
All is not lost though, when everything dries up me and little Bre is going to try it again.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Good lesson for Bre. Doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down, only matters how many times you get back up.

I have honestly forgot a brisket in one of my units before. Found it months after the fact. Looked like maggot pie.milesvdustin said:He forgot where he buried itLocation- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

And who knows, you may discover a whole new brisket craze, like the guy who first buried rotting cabbage and got kimchee, the guy who first let his juice ferment and got wine, the guy who first let his wine ferment and got vinegar, and of course the guy who first ate a raw oyster.
Post the results!“I'll have what she's having."
