I still have 3/4 of my final 4 intact.  Duke not included. ;)

Me too.  But I had UVa winning it all.  Really thought it was their year.

Such a humiliating loss for an overall #1 seed. Not just losing to a 16 seed, but scoring 1 point less in the entire game than UMBC scored in the second half.

I knew Virginia had flaws, but they did sweep Duke and North Carolina.

Maybe the ACC received too much praise this year? Certainly Tony Bennett and his Virginia Caveliers surely did.

Not a great showing by the ACC, thus far.

Could be worse I suppose, at least they are not the PAC12. Can't believe people actually thought Southern Cal got a raw deal. If they got in they would have been the 4th team from the PAC12 to lose in the opening round.

If you look at the way this game broke down, it really was a freak occurrence/perfect storm.  UMBC hit a very high percentage of their shots - like 75% for their 2's.   That's nuts.  And UVa shot very poorly.

UVa was a very strong team this year which is why they were the favorite to win it all.  They just had a terrible night.

I still have 8 of my Elite 8 left, but had a horrible first round.  You always knew a 16 was going to beat a 1, but it would suck if it was your team that had to be the first.

I thought UVa was a lock for a Final 32 for the 5th year in a row.

Me too.  Your turds go down to MI state.  Our bracket has opened up.  Exact opposite of every other year where Duke gets the free ride.  Go Cats.

Amazing the number of these games where free throws are the difference, made and missed. What a win for Michigan.
