Just to reiterate, Butt Blast is  very much a family friendly event.  None of the miscreants that try to make this thread look otherwise even attend.  Mostly.  Come and have some fun with our family and friends.  Nowhere else will you find Duke folk being friendly with NC folk and Kentucky grads.  It's the Burning Man of BBQ.  Ok, that's an overreach.  Its still fun ftor all with amazing eats.
Hey! They said to bring food, not be nice to dook and kentucky bball fans.   Just kidding, I am looking foward to some great food and good natured kidding.
You old NC fans are always irascible.  Look forward to meeting you, and discussing your loss. ;)

For the record, my two would rather go play video games whilst daddy gets drunk than hang out with the likes of you. Except maybe @doubleegger to talk cars and have gyros, or @JohnInCarolina to eat chocolate pots.

I never said it wasn't family friendly outside of event hours. I only said that it was family friendly during event hours. Talk about confirmation bias...
You'll have to explain to me all this scientific jargon over a fine Kentucky bourbon.

Or @Jeremiah just cause his family rocks or @northGAcock cause Ms Pattie is a blast.

Nevermind. They'd rather hang with you miscreants.

It is amazing how everyone behaves when the wives and kids are around.
That's why I fly solo for these sorts of events.

On TMZ tonight, I saw Matt Lauer wearing a Butt Blast '17 t-shirt out on the Hamptons.

Rofl, I'm just a poor country boy so I asked Ms. Bucky what "irascible" meant .  Heck she is college educated and didn't know.  But alas google is my friend and if fits perfectly
irritable, quick-tempered, short-tempered, hot-tempered, testy, touchy, tetchy, edgy, crabby, petulant, waspish, dyspeptic, snappish

applaud your master of the english language.
But I will behave in April.  =)

Burning Man, perfect reference for making the 'family friendly' argument.

Banjo players always hang out on the porch.  That's a fact, not an argument.

I take it the life slide deposits folks in the first circle, and descent down to the 9th circle of hell occurs throughout the weekend?

Good choice though....putting off catching the Eagle is a wise choice.

@bucky925 - When was the last time you saw PVW available for us commoners??  But for the right accessories I may be able to just enjoy your hospitality and sacrifice the PVW to BB.  You can PM me with some enticing particulars, should there be some that could sweeten the deal.  ;)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
