I have a 24" or a 36" griddle I can bring that works on the 3 eye stove, crawfish burners, grill in the back and an epic **** ton of smoker real estate. I'll have her loaded down with enough wood to keep it hot for 48 hours straight if need be. Hopefully I'll be able to get the sink fixed by then too.
If I bring a SRF Brisket will somebody show me how to cook it????  :s

Wouldn't be the first one the inside of this smoker has seen that's for sure. Given the people in attendance you will find plenty of talking points to make that thing amazing.

I texted my son some screenshots of the discussion related to him.
    1) He would prefer to be called FogPrince over Fogspawn.
    2) He wants to wear the Nomex suit and he is happy to keep you guys from burning yourselves if that is possible.  He's always known that in his relationship with me that he is the responsible adult.  He sees all of you as an extension of me in that regard.  He's spent time with a number of you and it has only reinforced his thoughts on the subject.
    3) He hopes that BC4 will pass without any more commentary about - or actual - assless chaps.

TFB. I thought that @FogSpawn was a charitable upgrade from @KeisterBoy.

Don't we all brother.  But these things have a tendency to take on a life of their own.  Better the chaps appear than have another camper acquire unlawful carnal knowledge of a stuffed donkey.

PS: I was kind of holding out for "Foghorn The Younger"

nolabrew aka Brian is making a t-shirt for the event which should be on Amazon (prime!) within the next week.

I cannot guarantee this will be something you would want to wear to church.

CT-scan and MRI today.  I'm probably not going to be running down the street throwing water bottles and losing my pants during brisket camp IV...

@Thatgrimguy I'm bringing my big blackstone griddle.   And my 4 kamados and fryer.

Then we have all the real estate we could ever want/ more than we need. I'll call you to arrange best time to meet that Friday to help with setup. Do you think I'll be able to leave my Motorhome at the event Friday Night to work on overnights?

You and me both brother. Sadly I won't  be able to attend next years either as we have an outage then as well. Count me in for 2019 though.

We are planning on making next years Butt Blast though, and will most likely bring Ol' Mortimer.

Good luck with your scans today Nola, hopefully nothing serious. Although I would pay to see you hobbling around in a cast at BC while blind, bulletproof, and invisible.

There are a couple of conventions in town that have driven up the flight fares.

Proximal tibia fracture on the plate, or some sh!t, based on the CT scan.  Already knew that, more or less, from the initial x-rays.  But now more detail and resolution.

Waiting for the MRI now.  We'll see what story the soft tissue tells us.

You could probably fly to Mobile, Al or Baton Rouge, LA for a lot less and rent a car and drive the rest

I drove from Tampa last year.  Aside from my poor judgement in stopping for BBQ at the Shed in Ocean Springs, MS,  it was a quick and easy drive.
