@td66snrf i tell her she can cry all she wants and she's not getting her way. We teach her it's ok to lose cause that's normal. It's ok to fail cause that's going to happen in life. Libs having been crying and rioting since Nov 8. The election is over. Trump isn't going to get impeached and he's not leaving.

I puked up Scottie's balls.... that's actually something I'm proud of.
I actually placed this in Nola's mouth. Don't let him lie, he loved it ;)This was Nola's covfefe =)

Me too. Been working like heck this year. On a seperate note, good to see that you are alive and well my friend. We need to get together soon and throw down some oysters.
Yeah man, I'm in the home stretch.  Been busy as hell last few months.

Went fishing on Sunday, tried buying some oysters in Empire, they were out, but next time....  They're the best in the country.

Seems to me there's a dichotomy between how you're raising your daughter and the "win at all costs" paradigm of your hero.   But whatever, dude.  Hope she turns out a better person than you.  (that's never an insult - everyone wants their kids to be better than them).  You're welcome.

Don't tell me  about rioting. I've lived through the 65 Watts riots and the 92 LA riots. How about you? What do you tell your son when he crys ? Don't be a little  girl?

I went to a party in the French Quarter about 6 weeks ago and someone found me in a gutter last night.  It's all a blur, but I had my lawyer check the police blotter and so far I think I'm off the hook.

These sort of threads are like some dinger's cat. The forum is politics free if you just don't open the threads. Simple yes?

We will lose some really good people for sure. I don't know of anyone moving yet, but there's still a lot of uncertainty around research budgets beyond this year.
A friend of mine got a "talent" visa within a day and is moving in a month.  They are serious about it.

@td66snrf are you seriously joking? So if i tell my son to stop crying like a little girl then that's demeaning? Well I'm guessing you live in a bubble because once you hit the real world ppl are going to say things way worse. Like Trump said it's locker room talk. Grab em by the you know what. Man it feels good to have the main man in the White House.
What  do you  tell your daughter when she's crying?
To quit whining like the head Cheeto in charge...waaaah, it's not fair, I have been treated very unfairly, sniffle.

My old office was across the street from Westminster Hall, site of Edgar Allen Poe's grave. Ate lunch there quite often while watching the methadone clinic visitors avoid nodding off in the gutter. Interesting circle of life.

My colleagues at Idaho National Lab were pretty upset by the proposed cuts to the Office of a Nuclear Energy's budget.  Hopefully cooler heads in Congress will prevail.

The energy companies in the country are shifting to natural gas fired turbine generators due to low gas prices. People are really going to **** about their electric bill as nuclear plants get shutdown and companies (like mine) start shipping natural gas offshore (Cove Point) and gas prices go back up to traditional levels.

So, 3MI might be shut down, or sold? I have noticed several NPs in Europe going up for sale, most of which, as here in the USA, NG is being used.

The US government approach to nuclear energy and waste over the past 50+ years has been pretty brain-dead.  And I've got to say a good part of that is due to Democrats.

That vote looks smarter every week, doesn't it?
From where I'm sitting it certainly does. I have made more money in the first 5 months of this year than I made all year long in the previous 8 years.
I know that some num whit will say "it's because of Obingo s polices carried over". Well it's mighty funny to me that 8 years of his bullcrap about starved me to death and the minute that Trump took over money started rolling in like rain from heaven.
There is simply no denying a working man prospers under conservatives and suffers under liberals.
So to answer the question directly, yeah my vote for Trump was the greatest thing that I have ever done with the single exception being my vote for Reagan. Trump is a God in the making. Reagan was a God.
    RONALDUS MAGNUS!

the backlash regarding paris pullout is yet another example of people reacting to soundbites and tweets and having no clue what they are protesting.  Light Cal Berkeley on fire because you dont like conservative speaker?  No problem, even though you have no idea what was going to be said.. Criticise Obama policy? you are a racist.

The thing that the left controlled media doesnt understand is that they are increasing Trump's reelection chances with every attack they lob his way...

Political correctness and the obsession over transgender bathroom use has given way to production, job growth and economic independence. Yeah Obama identifies with the commoner as he accepts outrageous speaking fees from italy and wall street.

Can anyone explain what a carbon credit is?  Its a purchased, traded right to pollute.  Oh and the exchange makes money on it. Thats why Al PRIVATE JET MULTIPLE MANSION Gore won the nobel prize...he discovered a way to make money from nothing derived from a politically charged social topic.

Europe is not our friend.  They want a free ride off of the US major economic power.  Theres a reason why the US military is without equal in the world.  The US is the ONLY welcoming nation in the world and the ONLY nation with a system that fosters creativity, invention, entrepreneurship and collaboration.   The euro is dying, nobody over there can get along, and countries are being overrun by groups of people who want to blow things and people up.  Hmmm, i think ill go to italy and start an empire.  Yeah right.

The republicans better pull their heads out of their @sses and stop blocking trumps agenda or they will be out of office.  Its time again to shake things up and tell politics to take a hike...

Brother SGH, if i had one, id give you a Seal of Approval. Great post Brotha @SGH!

@JohnInCarolina BTW - what exactly is the intention or result of removing yourself from an agreement that is non-binding with self imposed targets other than much ado about nothing? I think I'm understanding this covfefe thing......
