Try new batteries, BTW. Mine just died too and that's all it was.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

You got some bad juju going on.
I agree that you need to make peace with the gods by sacrificing an animal.
1. Get a goat.
2. Let @henapple make sweet love to it.
3. Cook it on Curry Egg and eat it (the goat... not Tony).
Not sure I want to eat a goat that has been amorous with tony (or anyone else for that matter).
Ha ha. I knew that was coming sooner or later.
You should go get an eye patch and visit the doctor. Blendec will put a new boat in your driveway.

It actually has been a kick ass blender. I'm interested to see what they have to say about it. I use frozen fruit and hot water to make my smoothies. That softens up the fruit just enough to make really smooth smoothies but they are still semi frozen when done. I wonder if that had anything to do with it? It really shouldn't with a plastic jar but it's the only oddity I can think of outside normal use. We could have dropped it or something in the years we have had it and it possibly had a hairline crack that has been holding on for life for a year. I dunno, but it has been a great blender.
Blendtec and Vitamixes cost way more..... or maybe I got ripped off
I recall @Little Steven had a CI pan that cracked/exploded on the induction cooktop
