I really effing hate this effing replay. I bleach my eyes every time I see it.
The greatest play was NC State, Valvano, at the buzzer.

The Latener shot was one of the greatest for sure, but the GOAT has the best.

That was an airball and horrible job of blocking out.  Valvano's reaction is brilliant, but the play wasn't nearly as good as this.

@Acn it won the tournament. Laetner's shot was not even guarded, nor was the in bound pass. Pitino hall of fame coach - BS!

Laettner had a guy on him. He made a move to shake the defender, and then hit the turnaround jumper. As for the inbound not being guarded - this was a length of the court pass. You can put the entire team on the baseline if you want, and Grant Hill still gets that pass into Laettner. It's not like the guys on the baseline can mug the guy making an inbounds pass, never mind a baseball toss.

It's too bad Kentucky fans just can't accept that this game, and it was really a great one on both sides, just came down to a great play at the end.

Dream on. Pelphrey was guarding Laetner, and he has acknowledged he was told not to make any contact to avoid the foul. He even said he didn't defend the shot. It was nothing more than an uncontested free throw.
great game no doubt, krywifhvcfjueyivky out coached Pitino. Greatest shot ever? Na.

I understand that it is almost physically impossible for Kentucky fans to see their players guarding Laettner. It's amazing how many years a state of shock and denial can last.

Damnit... Okay, you got me.  It's really hard for me to say anything positive about the other blue school, however since is was against Kentucky, I'll admit, it was epic.  That shot, I vividly remember exactly what I was doing at that time and the reaction.

kentucky fans are the worst. No denying UK Basketball fans can be delusional, but the hate has drifted off Laetner and has gone more towards Pitino.

I had great seats about 12 rows up from the floor at the 2012 Championship Game where Kentucky beat Kansas - Anthony Davis's last NCAA game before getting drafted to the Hornets.  I was there with our Brisket Camp lawyer Dylan, who's from KY.

No one said greatest shot, it was the greatest play, considering the context of the situation.

On a lighter note, I'm kinda proud that I wore out my hammock (new one on order).

Thanks Matt, that's what I ordered!  The double nest to be precise.  I'm going to try it out, and still may order the Pawley's Island as well and become a two hammock family since my daughter beats me to it half the time.

Nice man!  I don't have one personally, but many of my camping buddies swear by them.

Maybe I should have listed celebrating Duke's 5th basketball championship as a milestone since my freshman year was Coach K's first year.

Definitely would have generated more discussion that just sending my youngest off to college.

Hillary is a tarheel. All I need to say about that. Even worse, Donald Trump is a tarheel too. SMH. It has finally come to this.

My humble suggestion for the next brisket camp is a boxing ring and oversize boxing gloves.  Or maybe those giant sumo wrestling costumes.

That way, we can end all political discussions/sports team rivalry throughout the year with "You and me in the ring at brisket camp!"

Prediction - I think @sgh would train like rocky and be undefeated.

    8.5 years sober.
I joke a lot on this forum. But one thing I am very serious and genuine about is recognizing dedication and endurance to make your life better.
@GATraveller I am in your corner. I understand more than you may know.
I got your 6 on this. If I can ever help in any way, let me know.
8.5 years is incredible my friend, work it everyday. You got this.

No. You should not. Really. Even though Coach K has won his last NCAA TITLE.

Your youngest to college is far more important.
