RTIC just announced they will be offering a 30oz Tumber for $19.99.

I just went to their site and couldn't find it.  Where did you see this, I want one.

I never told my wife I wanted a Yeti 50 and I never told her I ordered a RTIC 65.  Which is why I now have a Yeti and RTIC 65.  Still want a Yeti 50!
To me the Yeti 50 just makes more sense than the Yeti 45 and the Yeti 65 due to the extra depth. It's really been a handy cooler for brining and chilling wine. I'm on Yetis notification list for the new 210. It has the extra depth as well. The extra depth models are the way to go in my opinion. I know that it depends on your particular needs, but for me they are the way to go.
Extra depth makes it a more comfortable seat as well. :)

W1605XX so it looks like 88,6XX orders are between our orders.lol
Mine are due first week of January but really have no need for them till summer, so no rush here.

I placed mine probably the same week as you (8/18 - Tuesday)....dang...there was a huge demand if they're going in sequence.   I'm roadtripping and would love to have just before Christmas, but probably won't happen...I'll live.  I just hate when they miss their target dates, makes me nervous that Yeti might shut them down...might....

There are a lot of folks who have wanted a rotomolded cooler but weren't willing to pay the price that most manufactures are asking. RTIC is catering to this crowd. Heck I already owned a couple of high end coolers but couldn't pass up on the price that RTIC is offering them for.

Hey Scottie, why don't you send me that Yeti 50? The RTIC jingle writer shouldn't be seen with a Yeti.

Brother Double, in all honesty, how did I do on the jingle? I thought Yeti Land was a hit for sure =)

It was pretty good. Should have added a line, "if it ever ships, R.T.I.C will be the cooler for me"

and "don't get bit like Brother Lit", save your cash and buy a RTIC from me"

Reserved in July, paid for it 8/18 and my order number was W247... The 45 is much larger than I thought it was going to be (perfect in size and what I will use it for) so I am glad I stuck with the 45 after debating on paying the extra $20+ for the 65 for the longest time.

I paid 8/19 and ordered the same ones.  One would think Im closer than 12-1-15.  Does it go by when you paid, or the date you pre ordered?

    They look good.
  • Not sure how they schedule them. I ordered and paid at the same time on 8/18

They now have several warehouses around the country. Geographic location may play a factor in filling orders.

    I typed 12-1-15, but meant 1-1-16

I just got my Yeti 50 delivered yesterday (20% off coupon from REI also), @SGH convinced me with the extra depth, I wanted that for larger beer bottles. Didn't look at it much 6 months ago, because I didn't think it would fit in my car trunk, the car was traded in during the summer for a SUV so fit shouldn't be an issue.

Congradulations on the new 50, you will love it. The extra depth has been very useful for my purposes. The new 210 has the extra depth as well. I'm on the waiting list for one as we speak. The 50 holds my "briners" which saves precious  fridge space. I also use it for curing. Got a ham and a turkey curing for Christmas in the 50 right now.

I'm sure the RTIC is great and all, but I still love my Yeti.
